we drove 1 1/2 hours because we'd heard about the Wednesday special- broasted chicken & dumplings. Excellent !!!

We were pretty disappointed at tonight's meal. Salad... asked for no veg.s. lettuce was not crispy and fresh and I tasted the cucumber she must have just taken off. Dumplings... not very hot and gravy was not thick like usual. Chicken... not hot and mine had an aftertaste I haven't experienced before here. My husband says the chicken was just "blah". At Summit Ridge, the staff makes guests feel welcome and at home, offering great food and hospitality. The Thursday night car shows are not to be missed. Meals like the Friday fish fry with shrimp and fried cod are absolutely delicious, with a great salad bar and perfect sides like asparagus and twice baked potato. The Wednesday special of broasted chicken & dumplings is excellent. Highly recommended and definitely worth a stop.
