Outstanding lunch and atmosphere. Had the flounder and pistachio crusted chicken. Topped off with strawberry rhubarb and Apple pie. All excellent and very friendly service.

This place is so cute!! My husband and I first came here 12 years ago on our honeymoon, and loved it, and we have made a point to go back every time we go up to The Door. We were a little disappointed to find out they no longer serve breakfast other than Saturday and Sunday and that’s if you get there before 11AM. So when we got there close to noon and were told they weren’t serving breakfast I was disappointed, mainly because I love their scones, specifically their raspberry white chocolate scone, but after telling my server how much I loved their scones she went back and found one for me. That alone tells you about the service of this place, they go above and beyond for their guests. I ended up getting their Turkey BLT sandwich which was sooo good! Loved the honey mustard it was paired with, made every bite an enjoyment. My husband got a burger that he thought was just “okay”. The soup was also just okay, but that was a personal preference. The service alone makes up for any of the food and the cherry pie was really good! Check out the Chefs Hat!! Great views of the bay, warm cozy atmosphere, top notch service! You won’t be disappointed!

The food was good, our margarita has a old lime, but our waiter was very intense. The atmosphere was relax and beautiful, we decided to stay outdoors.

Amazing spot. We ate outside. Was nice to see the bustle of people around. The food was incredible, best meal of my short visit to the area.

One of my favorite patios to eat on in Ephraim. Crab 🦀 stuffed shrimp is my favorite with bonus stuffed peppers. Yum!

Great lunch stop, excellent food. Potato salad was well seasoned and tasty with egg, celery, etc. Turkey BLT was perfect, moist and well balanced between meat and toppings.

Very relaxed, casual vibes. Food and service was impeccable. Chef's Hat offers many options - including many gluten free options!
All staff and service members were welcoming, kind, and accommodating. We relaxed on their patio with a wonderful meal... the door county way!

Great little cafe. Our lunch was delicious. The soup, 1/2 sandwich, chips, and pie combo was perfect for thia early fall day. The cherry lemonade is perfect for Door County.

Once upon a time, had a good breakfast experience in the past and wanted to go again. This time the server didn't listen well to my ordering and was verbally rude when I asked for specific things or asked questions. The food wasn't that great this time. Won't ever go back here again. There are other much better places we enjoyed in Door County with much better service.

Honestly if I could give this experience a 0 I would. Stopped here to eat for lunch about 1 month ago. Informed the server I was gluten free. Ordered apps and then our meals. When receiving my meal they had normal bread on the side of my plate. Informed the serve and he took his bare hands and started picking off the pieces on the side and said he would bring back gluten free bread. After being totally grossed out that he had his hands in my salad noticed that I had very moldy raspberries as well in it. When he came back with the right bread, I informed him of the raspberries. He then again put his bare hands into my salad picking off the raspberries and told me he would get new ones. After this I had just asked for completely new salad. No apology or any type of compensation. My husband then ordered a coffee to go as we were driving back home. Didn’t offer to even put the coffee on the house. I was so upset that we had not even received an apology from our server to now stick his hands into my food but seemly pretty careless about me being gluten free as well. I called after and the manager was very nice and apologetic. Stated he would send something in the mail for this and the server should know better. Now we are a month later and I have followed up twice now and have received nothing. After being told twice now that something was coming and another time that I would be called back. I do not recommend coming here as our bill was $100 for a more than terrible experience. I never write reviews and tried to be extremely patient with staff. This is very poor costumer service and if you are gluten free please be aware of this.

Website says there is a veggie burger but when we got to the restaurant they no longer offered it. The veggie wrap has gotten a LOT smaller than it used to be. Very disappointing.

My boyfriend and I went there for dinner. He had the meatloaf and I had the chicken and broccoli Alfredo. Both VERY delicious 😋. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend
