Came in and they were closing pretty early on a Wednesday (before 10). Classic bar, great place to take folks from out of town, lots of story's and local color. The documentary is coming soon. For those nearby, best show up after an honest days work.
My wife and I met someone earlier in the week that recommend the Union Tavern to us. So on a cold and rainy Saturday we went on a road trip to find this place. We walked in and sat down next to three very nice guys. Great conversation and service. By the time we left, which was only one beer, we had made a host of new friends.I would highly recommend this establishment and will be back. We did not eat there, but there burgers looked amazing. They make burgers and pizza.. all in a pizza oven. Dany, the owner, is friendly and loves his bar. This is the best dive bar I've ever been to. There is always good conversation from the regulars.
