Barringer's food never disappoints. Our food was exceptional. Service was slow and not as professional as we are accustomed to. The server had blue jeans and converse tennis shoes on and was not as 'buttoned up' as we are accustomed to. As a result, the value for the money was a bit lower.

We had a very early reservation (due to the later times being booked already), so we were for awhile the only diners in the restaurant. But the service and food was excellent! The sauce on the scallop entree was spectacular and the Delmonico ribeye was cooked perfectly. Thank you for a lovely evening that allowed for a beautiful walk afterwards.

Food and drinks outstanding, waiter forgot to put in app order and just brought out meals. No offer of taking it to go or drink on house for inconvenience.

We really enjoyed the food after we received it. We were there for over 2 hours - service was terrible and it wasn't the server's fault. The food was pricey, but it was very good. Just wish the service was a bit better when spending that much for the entire experience. It wasn't so bad since we were on vacation and didn't have anywhere we needed to be. I know the couple next to us were celebrating a birthday and she was terribly upset that it took over 2 hours for their meal as well.

It just seemed like maybe it was an off night! The restaurant felt humid and warm. Our server was too busy unfortunately and we were not attended to (we have had him before though and he's been excellent). Drinks came slow, food came slow. I had the special, the shrimp étouffée, and it was marginal.

Excellent Perch with plenty of fries! The Crab/Lobster stuffed Shrimp were tasty, and served with a Bechamel sauce, four large asparagus spears. A NY Strip steak was charred, and a perfect medium-rare, crispy potato sauced with sour cream and chives. Good service. A cozy side booth. We will be back!

We tried the bone marrow and tuna appetizers. We moved on to crab cakes with lemon aioli and ribeye for our dinners. Thank you to the staff, chef and bartender (I wish we had asked his name). We had a wonderful, peaceful meal here to celebrate our anniversary. The bartender introduced my husband to a new Bourbon and even gave us spot on advice on where to purchase a bottle. Top shelf liquor options galore! The food was amazing! 5 stars and we will visit again!
