This was my third time to Kettle Black. We had a group of friends and it was fun to go out back on a lovely evening for the shrimp boil. The food was absolutely wonderful, service was great... so much fun! Definitely recommend!

If you're are at Fish Creek, or Door County, you need to eat here! We were at the Shrimp/ lobster boil, and it was delicious! We sat outside and watched the chef add the vegetables and then the shrimp & lobsters. It doesn't boil over like a fish boil, but it was fun to watch. Then we went into the restaurant to eat. They add the hot broth to your bowl and it keeps it warm & delicious! The chef was funny and fun to talk with! It was such a nice evening!

We went for the Cajun Shrimp Boil. It was EXCELLENT! The food was cooked perfectly and so delicious. We had a table of 6 and I think we were a little loud because we were having such a good time!
I do not eat White Fish so when we saw shrimp boil instead we were excited. We were herded outside to watch the cooking event, which one would than assume it would be done the same as the fish boil since we were told to go outside. We were not alone, most of the other diners upstairs were under the impression there would be a show...Note to everyone. There was not. There is also only beer and wine. Maybe this is a Door County thing but disappointing. We were unceremoniously brought our bowl of food and not once checked on or asked if we wanted any other drinks after our food was delivered. We had to flag someone down for our bill. Certainly there was plenty in the bowl to eat, however it was just OK. we only got one piece of cornbread each. Overall it was just a disappointing experience especially for the cost.

We loved the Cajun Seafood Boil! The owners were amazing and they give you a step by step of how they make the boil. Seafood was done to perfection! We prefer it over the traditional whitefish boil offered elsewhere! Great view of Sister Bay.
