Check- in lady was very rude and lost our reservation. She then blamed it on my mom and was very rude!

You cannot visit Door County without including a fish boil. Pelletier's is one of the best! This restaurant puts on a great show, and their whitefish is awesome (you *do* have to eat around fish bones). Menu includes other items if fish is not your wish. Plus, the restaurant is surrounded by gift stores (my wife's favorite).

Come early...parking is a challenge. Make reservations, and be prepared to stand in line to pay. Also, you'll want to be able to get a good seat to watch the show.

This is a great venue to wrap up a busy visit to Door County. Our family enjoyed the restaurant experience on Labor Day weekend before retiring to the beach to applaud the sunset. Good times!

Kid-friendliness: Your child may be selected to ring the dinner bell. All children will be wowed by the fire at boil-over. Seems to me that they take safety seriously.

A ceremonial event with some public showing of fish boiling and background intro. The food itself is just so-so though. The lady at bar was a little bit impatient, which could be due to the pressure of serving many customers at the same time.
