Pelletier's Restaurant & Fish Boil

I'd give this 4.5 stars if I could. The food was cooked perfectly and it was delish! The fish is sooo fresh and the potatoes were the perfect flavor and texture! The only reason for not giving it a 5 is because I wish they showed you how to easily remove the bones. Our server was focused on serving everyone and not the most attentive. I would go back.

Absolute rudest hostess I have ever encountered. I had the temerity to ask if we should seat ourselves and she made me feel like I was an idiot for asking...even though every table in the main eating area was empty. The other 4 people in line were looking at each other like they could not believe she could be as rude as she was. We left...as did 2 others in line.

Our first fish boil on our first visit to Door County. Such fun in the process and dinner crowd, super interesting, beautiful setting with the bluffs in the background. Not going to lie, the food *looked* a bit bland...but is really delicious! It's boiled in salt which keeps the fish firm, and the firing at the end burns off the whiffy fats and oils floating at the top. I devoured all of it, including to my surprise the fish skin 😋 Not to be missed!!

Great fish boil experience! Boil master is the best! Quick service and just plain delicious.....oh, there is also wonderful breakfast and lunch if you can't make a fish boil.
