The food and atmosphere was great but the lady at the front that greats you ruined are experience she yells at everyone even at a old man she has no respect for anyone. That girl should be running horses instead. She is also bartender I would not be surprised if she had a few drinks herself.

We have been to their fish boil numerous times. We wouldn't consider a trip to Door County complete if we didn't go here.

It's always a good idea to get breakfast, lunch, or dinner here. Although we have yet to experience the fish boil, we have always enjoyed the food here.

Fish boils is a Door County experience that can't be missed. Pelletier's has a perfect patio adjacent to indoor dining to combine both experiences in a perfect setting. Great lakes white fish cooked to perfection with potatoes and other vegetables makes for a well balanced tasty meal.

Watching the boil process was great and the food tasted very fresh. They go a little heavy with the melted butter though. The different waves with the serving times makes you feel a bit like you are part of a cattle herd. The staff was very good.

We showed up on a whim because the menu looked good. For dinner, you pretty much need a reservation, which I didn't see anywhere online. We (my husband and I) were able to get seats for 2, but larger groups were turned away. They also don't have the dinner menu online, almost everything you see is lunch menu. When you walk in, you go to the register and they take your order and you pay. They give you tickets and you take your seats and wait for your meal. We both got the beer battered cod meal, with a potato side (french fries or baby red potatoes) and coleslaw (other option was applesauce). Each meal includes a slice of cherry pie! It wasn't a normal type of set up, but we thoroughly enjoyed our food and took the pie to go. It was a noisy atmosphere, limited seating, but tonight was a fall Friday night so that may not always be the case. Definitely recommend trying this surprising little place!

My first fish boil experience and it was great!! The fish was tender, moist, and cooked to perfection! Potatoes were super soft and creamy! Fish boil was also very entertaining. Highly recommend this

A must see event. The food was delicious. The fish had several bones easily removable but we were warned of that.

Awful fish coleslaw and corn. I do not recommend wasting your time going here. It's poor food and service.

Walked into the restaurant about 11:15-30ish. This was our first time at this restaurant and it came recommended from one of the locals. The woman that I believe was a hostess or a server defined the word rude. First she told us they weren't seating anyone for an hour ( which in my world I call a one hour wait). I asked how the process worked as far as coming back again in a very rude tone she said come back in an hour. I expressed to her how unpleasant she was was and she mumbled to some other customers that I cut in line. I don't know what line she was referring to but there wasn't one. I again expressed my displeasure with her and my wife and I left to eat elsewhere. It's a shame my wife snd I will never enjoy what quite a few people give said are great meals but I don't care how good anyone's food is it starts with customer service. I decided to look at other reviews of this place and sure enough I'm not the only one that experienced it. Very sad and frustrating

We came in from the rain and cold and wanted soup. We ordered the Chili and the Beef Stroganoff, which were lukewarm at best. They weren't hot at all. I was expecting the Beef Stroganoff to be a darker broth and have larger chunks of beef in it. Instead, it was a lighter broth and had crumb sized pieces of beef. There were also a lot of flies flying around us and our food

I never had a fish boil before, so when in Door County, I decided I needed to try. We got here on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy. They have multiple time slots. We waited in line to check-in at 615P, and luckily they had an opening for the 7P. We got our tickets and were told we could go out back to checkout the fish boil. There are several benches and seats that surround the main attraction and the workers tend to the wood to get the pot boiling. Dunk in a basket of white fish, and wait 30 minutes. Once the fish is ready, you get served. Make sure to snag a table beforehand, to ensure seating. Pay for what you want, 1 whitefish or 2, and the dish comes with a small redskin potato, half a corn on the cob, Cole slaw, and a small onion bulb. All in a nice delicious buttery sauce. Service was decent, the overall experience good, and the meal, rather filling. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located near the entrance, the men's bathroom had one urinal and toilet. It kinda reeked of urine. Other than the smell, everything was in working condition. Sit or squat? Squat.

We went for the Wisconsin Fish Boil on the last night of our stay in Door County. In part because it was a beautiful evening, we truly enjoyed the experience. We started by sitting outside around the perimeter of the yard where it takes place, beers in hand, and listened to the boil master explain what he was doing. It was fully dark by the time of the grand finale, when kerosene is hurled at the cooking pot and the whole thing boils over and the flames shoot up. Very picturesque and we got some great photos. The fish and accompaniments you eat afterwards are almost an afterthought but are pretty good: slices of bread; the fish; corn on the cob; boiled potatoes, cole slaw and 1/2 a sweet boiled onion. Door County cherry pie for dessert (a la mode is $3 extra). It's $21 with one 7 oz. piece of fish; $24 for two. Very reasonable, we thought.

Not my favorite for a fish boil. Food was okay. Servers were working as fast as they could, but very under staffed. Did not like standing in line to confirm food order and pre pay. Very tiring standing in line instead of sitting outside watching the boil.
