Chef Chris is very fun and committed to serving great food. Due to staffing issues, you currently order at the counter when you walk in but are seated and served in the dining room. Service was fast and friendly, food was good, and the options were appealing. We will definitely come back!

The wife and I were there for lunch and the owner was seating and taking orders. Ver personable and made a great dining experience. The food was great. May have been one of the best burgers I have eaten, and the asparagus was perfection. It was so good we tried to go back for dinner, but it was closed. This will always be a stop everytime the wife and I come to Door.

This is an order first and then sit restaurant. The staff was very friendly. I got the she-crab soup which was finished with cinnamon and although it sounds weird, it was so incredibly delicious. I had a burger which was great and the asparagus was fresh and fantastic. My husband had the pulled pork and it was not what he expected since it had no bbq sauce and it was on a pita. He said it was bland. There is a selection of beers and wines and there is outdoor seeing. I will have to return for the soup.

Met friends here for lunch. Very friendly staff. Loved the decor. The food was fab - had the Cuban - delicious! Their nan bread is fantastic. Chef Chris came out to chat and ask about our meal. Great guy! Everyone else in our group raved about their lunches. Highly recommend!

Quite possibly the very best burger I have ever had! Enjoyed sitting outside. Chef Chris checked on us several times, staff delivered our drinks and refilled water several times. No complaints at all!

simple place. choose, pay and wait at a table for your food. had the all american burger and fries that were fried ribbons of potato with a side of asparagus. partner had porky revenge burger. all really nice. and service was friendly.

First you order and pay (including tip) when you go in. (like fast food) Isn't the point of a tip to reward for good food and service? Well since I had bad, seriously over priced food and extremely slow service, I felt like I was ripped off on the tip. They don't have menus they make you stand at the counter while you decide what you want and get irritated if you take too long. They charged $21 for a burger that was maybe worth $8 (if it had been cooked the way I requested - medium, but received it rare.) Since I had already waited for almost an hour to get it I certainly did not want to wait any longer. I could not figure out why a burger took so long to cook since they were almost dead for customers when we were there. Also the bacon was so hard I couldn't bite or saw through it with my knife so I just ended up taking it off. As for the service, we were pretty much ignored the whole time. The waitress huffed & puffed about having to go get me a straw I request for my soda and never once stopped by our table to ask if we need refills on our drinks or even to ask how the food was. I guess since they already had our money for the food and terrible service they didn't give a crap if we were not happy. Also, they serve this very expensive food on paper plates. This was the worst dining experience of our vacation and I definitely would NOT recommend this restaurant and for sure will NEVER go back.
This is a great place on main drag. You order when you come in and they give you a number to take to your table. We took a table outside. It was nice, but nothing fancy. We had shredded pork tacos and “sweet baby Jesus” burger. Both were amazing.

We’ve been here multiple times. We live in Fish Creek and it’s one of our favorite restaurants! We’re foodies and can’t say enough about the food chef Chris puts out. Staff kind and helpful, courteous. Sweet Baby Jesus burger is one of our favorites, but the gyro and Cuban are equally amazing. Had the cowboy ribeye tonight. Done to perfection. A must try if you’re in the area! Don’t be fooled by ordering off a chalkboard. If you can find more staff to work, I’m sure they’d be happy to change a few things. In this day and age of post covid living, make Skaliwags one of your stops!

What a treat it was to try out this new-to-us restaurant. I had Crab Cakes (a family recipe) and they were cooked perfectly. It was such a refreshing change from the other wait-to-be seated and served restaurants in the area. Even through it was peak season, we found seats as soon as we ordered (the concept is to order and pay at the register and the food is brought to your table). We sat outside and it was a beautiful evening and a great place to people watch. There servers were friendly and the options were numerous. We'll be back.

First you have to order at the bar and pay with tip before you even sit down and taking a picture of menu off a chalk board with some prices barely readable in red chalk so we sit down with our table number ala culvers,so we are waiting.....It dos not take 40 min for a burger and the lobster roll. They must have burnt the burger and had to quick make another cuz a medium was almost rare,the lobster roll was horrible I have never seen one made this way almost no visible lobster meat all minced up I've been out east and to vegas a lobster roll is chunks of lobster that you can taste"LOBSTER" nobody even asked if we wanted another drink while we waited or gave any explanation about the long wait I don't know what all these people are talking about this place SUCKED!!! would not recommend to anyone 80$ what a deal we got skaliwagged
