Enjoyed 2 nights in a row of excellent dining for the 2nd weekend in Door County in 2025... Friday and Saturday night. Wonderful experience both nights. Our favorite dining in Door County.

Great atmosphere, good appetizers and good mixed drinks but sadly that is where the positives in this story ends. 6:30 PM reservation, arrived at 5:30 PM to sit by the indoor fireplace to have an Old Fashion, and we were seated by 6:15 PM. Drink orders and appetizers placed and those came out hot, in good time we’re off to a good start! Main courses ordered at 6:35 PM and we did not receive our food until about 8:30 PM - not kidding! BUT WAIT, there’s more! Ravioli was burned, zero flavor to our 4 steaks, 3 medium filet mignons came out 1 rare and 2 almost well-done but also very dry, my ribeye was ordered medium well but came out well done, dry and zero flavor so I used Heinz 57 to , shrimp ? dish was rubbery, grouper Wellington was thinly sliced but decent as was the salmon Wellington. This was the 2nd time our ladies had been to this restaurant and their experience was polar opposite of their last visit, unfortunately. Requests to speak to the male and/or female manager at our table around 8:10 PM were ignored. Granted they were busy but just make time and own the mistakes, confusion, etc for our table of 9 please! Let the record show our waitress did her best to update us on the timeline but she basically hid from us after giving us a 15 minute warning around 8 PM when food was still not ready. It was out of her hands so we did take care of her by tipping generously. The bar manager eventually came out to speak to us near the end of our meal and she was surprisingly confrontational. She did end up making things right with us in the end so we will likely give them another chance when we visit again but this was a bad first impression for me despite the relaxing environment that turned out to not be very relaxing. Everyone deserves a second chance but the next visit better be close to perfect or we’re done!! #DoBetterPlease

A truly wonderful atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor space is especially charming, with small firepits at the center of each table, creating a cozy ambiance. The beautiful koi pond, complete with small waterfalls and wine barrels that shoot water, adds a serene touch. The lighted trees and unique metal sculptures further enhance the enchanting setting. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely & romantic restaurant. Lots of atmosphere here! We were seated in front of the fireplace & our food was excellent. My Filet Mignon was cooked just right. Our wonderful waiter was great & presented me with a rose after dinner. My favorite place!

We went there for the first time tonight for our Anniversary. We both had the Filet Mignon. It was so good, tender, and each piece melted in our mouth. At the end of the meal, the waiter brought a rose to the table and presented it to me. It was a great experience. We will definitely be back! Thanks for being great.

Have had nothing but great meals here until two weeks ago. I ordered Prime Rib which you couldn't cut with a saw. They brought me another one which wasn't any better. I was charged for the meal I could not eat, so they gave me a free Brandy Alexander. The way I look at it is I paid $50 for the drink.

Dinner was wonderful. I had the fish fry with walleye. My wife had it with perch. My daughter had wings. Everything was great. Soup or salad included. Fresh bread as well.

I really like it here! The staff are top-notch, making you feel like a VIP from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is elegantly charming, perfect for a special outing. The food? Pretty darn good—definitely worth a visit. If you’re looking for a spot where the service is as classy as the décor, this is your place!

First time here... Looked inviting, menu was what I was longing for... Sign stated, "Immediate Seating". Waited well over 5 minutes. while making eye contact with the "host", as he chit chatted. The second we turned to leave he "immediately" stopped his conversation and wanted to seat us. Unfortunately we lost interest after that. Your host is your first impression.
Made a reservation while in town for a Sunday evening. I believe our waiter was named Martin. He was attentive without being intrusive. My Old Fashion cocktail was perfect. Food was very good.

Food was excellent! Highly recommend the spinach salad and Beef Wellington. Christina our wait staff was very attentive ( we observed from our table that she had multiple tables but we never felt neglected.) We liked her recommendations (and rationale) for cooking temps of the Wellington. Also, pet friendly on upper patio.

It's a great place to have a special dinner, the service is friendly and prompt. The prices are high for Th food quality. Carrots taste like frozen carrots and some of the dishes need more flavor. The bread doesn't taste fresh. Salmon was delicious but the dressing was poor in flavor. Red skin mash potatoes are delicious.

We were there to celebrate our anniversary this weekend. The atmosphere is awesome with the fire in the tables and the service is excellent. We had Alex as our server and he was extremely friendly and accommodating. Made our night. We look forward to coming here every year. Also you have to try the ice cream cocktail drinks! The best way to end the evening. Highly recommend.
