Food drink and atmosphere were all excellent. We stopped in for lunch.
The bartender and server were pleasant and prompt. The food was tasteless and substandard. I would not recommend to anyone,
It was ok. Nothing great. Seems like the staff is seasonal and needs more training. The food was ok but nothing outstanding. Would I go back? Yes but with a lower expectations.
Our 2nd time here. We really enjoy the venue, chosing to sit on the veranda. This time we brought family along and they loved the food, ambiance, and service. Great experience.
This is such a cute place with great food! My husband had duck and I had vegetarian stir fry, both of which were delicious. We finished with house made carrot cake which was also delicious! Service was outstanding and this such a friendly, family business. Finally, fun speakeasy cocktails was the finishing touch to a great evening!
Had a great weekend stay at White Gull Inn, spent Saturday up in Baileys Harbor for great bloody and lobster roll and was looking forward to our last night there at Welkers. So disappointed. Drink and food menu not was listed on line. Waitress said it wasn't “the season” yet. This was Memorial weekend so it should have been the start of their season. Scallops were over done, and very small with no pistachio coating at all. Duck was totally underwhelming. Scalloped potatoes were inedible. It was like reheating your leftovers for the 3rd time. High end prices for very plain underwhelming food. Just such a disappointing end to our otherwise great vacation.
The food & cocktails were very good. The Grouper was excellent The dining room seemed louder than normal.
Beautiful place and great service. Food was bland. I had the scallops which had no flavor but were cooked perfectly, and I had the butternut squash side was way over seasoned. My husband had to send his steak back as it was too rare, and then it was mostly flavorless. But the cut of meat was great. We enjoyed the piano player and the ambiance but the food was too expensive to be average.

Loud love music, very friendly hostess but very absent server, ordered the salmon and filet mignon. Portion sizes were overpriced for their small size, and everything (even the loaded potatoes, cheesy potatoes, rice, veggies, and steak, were overly dry). The filet mignon has the right color in the middle, but no flavor, and way overdone on the edges.
Waited an hour, and was unimpressed, especially by the $18 seasonal drinks for which prices were not listed.
Seemed like more of a bar scene, not a great spot for food or kids.
Parking: No close parking, all the streets were full, and no designated lot.

I knew I should have been cautious when this place was one of the only ones with openings on Fall Fest weekend. We had been here before but wanted to give it a second chance. Now this gripe may be minor to some but when we order an appetizer, we don't expect our meals to come out less than 5 minutes later. That timing was terrible and makes us feel rushed. That is suck a small item to manage and shouldn't happen in a place like this. The side dishes on my scallops- the wild rice and squash were clumpy, and room temp as if they were sitting in a dish on the back and plopped onto the plate after the scallops were done. The server needed more training as well as she didn't know whiskeys when we asked what they had. That's the restaurants fault for not training her properly. If you want a speakeasy theme, whiskey is the one liquor that should be highlighted more than others. Overall, for the price we paid, I was very disappointed, and we won't return.

From the easy of reserving a table, immediate seating at our time, professional fun friendly staff, cocktails, appetizer, dinners with live piano music-this was dining experience no other place comes close. Superb!

1st time back since it opened as Welcker's Lounge. Atmosphere and food were excellent. We had the Lamb chops and 1/2 chicken with stuffing, etc. Loved it.

For what they are charging, you would expect a decent experience or quality in food/drinks. A group of us came here for dinner. All of our cocktails were very unbalanced, and one of us ordered lemonade, which was just sour mix and water, not even drinkable. Two of these meals came out incorrectly. Steak and chicken were cooked properly, which was the only reason I didn't walk out. The way they plated made different sauces from sides to soak into meat and ruined flavor.
