Finally found a great, delectable place to stop into up here in the U.P. / Crystal falls perimeter. Best burgers this side of Nirvana. Prices are admirable. Very cognizant, gregarious staff. Delicious food, fast & friendly service, & a laid back & rustic atmosphere. I went with a group of 3 around 3:00 & had a server greet us right away & get us drinks & an appetizer order right away, which arrived promptly. We all ordered different types of burgers with fries. I got an amaretto sour & the patty melt burger with Cajun fries & it was delicious!!!

Stopped for lunch after golf and the waitress was super nice and very efficient with the busy lunch crowd. I had a double cheeseburger and a 1/2 order of fries! Absolutely fabulous!

As the owner of Engman's Haven House I like to support local businesses. We come here a lot, usually after the strip club, but hey, that's what it is. Good food, good service, food is tasty and good atmosphere. I meet a lot of nice people here, sometimes the guys are pretty friendly. Been able to hang with a lot of them and sometimes we hang back at their place. But meeting up here is always good. Also great place to come to after the strip club, we do that ALL the time.

To put it simply, the Chuckwagon is a great place to go. We went on their busiest night during Friday Fish Fry and the result was nothing short of spectacular. The food was exceptional, I myself had the fried perch with beer batter fries and it was delicious. Tartar sauce at the table. The service was exceptional. Still felt noticed by the waiters and staff even with crowds of other people. Atmosphere was great, lots of people and cheerful mood. I grew up eating here, and decided to come back and I have no regrets. 10/10 would recommend.
