One of the better places to get a good meal in the area. You can tell somebody puts effort into keeping the menu exciting, and making changes from time to time.

Overall this was a beautiful experience and we’d definitely recommend this wedding venue for intimate weddings and events. Owners are friendly and the space is beautiful.

Super setting

Really enjoyed this venue for my daughters baby shower recently. The venue was the Perfect backdrop to a Beautiful party. This meticulously renovated historic home has a patio over looking the beautiful Fischer Lake and a charming Carriage House. The owner was very gracious and more than accommodating to all our needs.

Be sure and ask for the cancellation policy!....We booked a suite several weeks in advance for a funeral...I got sick and called 24 hrs prior the booking. The owner would not refund any money. She had already put it through on my charge account!..said we could visit Florence within the year and she would remember our payment!...Really??

BE AWARE - All these great reviews, prior to July 2021, belong to the previous restaurant owner's ~ the Ash's. The landlord of the property has taken over the page & is using all of Ash's photos & credibility to promote their new business. Anyone knowing this, scrolling through, can see when this occurred. Why keep those former posts? Who lays claim to another businesses accomplishments & then expect people to support them??? It's underhanded to say the least. Ash's have moved their restaurant to Spread Eagle & continue their tradition of fine cuisine.... & I, along with their supporters, will continue to enjoy Ash's!

Best duck I've ever had

Rachel is unfortunately using all pictures of the food from chef Scott who previously owned Maxsells restaurant and suites business. Rachel owned the building and was only the landlord so please if you are interested in the food and hospitality that the pictures show, go to Ash’s restaurant on hwy old 69! They are more then happy to accommodate you at their new location! I hope that Facebook will take down all of the reviews and followers that Sarah and Scott have gained through the last 5 years because Rachel had nothing to do with them or their business and how it was ran. Thank you again! To our loyal followers; we love you!

Amazing service and food!!!!

Gourmet food with Up North portions and a couple of interesting beer selections. Put that together and you have the makings of a good Florence date night. Hope it opens again strong, really enjoyed our last dining experience there.

My wife and I loved it we started with a old fashioned at the bar. Absolutely amazing!! We were seated and we ordered the steamed clams again absolutely delicious. I ordered the ribeye she got the filet. Both were very good mine was spot on medium rare. My wife’s was just a touch over medium a little closer to well done. But still delicious. Definitely will be coming back!!

Wonderful experience for 5 star dining in the area! Outstanding service, fantastic ambiance and food was out of this world! We will definitely be back!

Amazing creative food and a very welcoming atmosphere!

Absolutely awsome! We had their specials, unfortunately I ate them before I thought of taking pictures of the Mahi Mahi and I went for it and ordered the beef cheeks, yes I said beef cheeks. Unbelievable how tender and delicious. For dessert, maple crembrulia and chocolate mouse.
