One of the best bars in downtown FDL! I love that they have live music and fun things to do. The Biergarten is the best place to hang out in the summer with some friends, especially when the fire is going ? Great food, great drinks ?, great people.
Interesting place, beer was excellent. Barkeeper had you pay before giving you anything. Food was all cooked in a microwave. Unless you're there only for beer, can't recommend.

The best place to relax for a beer, good food and excellent music. The owner does incredible work in this community also! Worth the stop!

Went there to try iit out.. Went there for the chili....took 20 minutes for them to ladle it into a bowl and it was cold and gross. They looked seriously pissed when we asked for a warm up. Attitude after that. Will not return.

Stopped in for a couple beers with my dad after brunch on Sunday. Nice German themed bar with a laid back atmosphere. Cool little beer garden on the side. I'll be back soon to try out the food!

Low life stole my $200 vape. I talked to everyone there for a good while and most of them knew each other and are older regulars. They should not let stuff like that happen to a guy just traveling through. BEFORE MGMT COMES you control the crowd… YOU set the standard and the standard is LOW

We stopped in for a quick snack and drink on our way to the north side of Lake Winnebago. We were quickly greeted as we sat down, electing to sit inside as we would be spending the whole day outside. There is a large outdoor 'beer garden' with a variety of comfy looking seating options. Inside was clean, but small. Lots of bar seating.Roughly 15 beers on tap, with both local selections and a good selection of German Octoberfest staples. A beer list definitely would have been helpful, as there are taps at various locations throughout the bar. The beer was great, and glasses were spotless. Some upselling would have been helpful, as we had to ask for a menu. We shared the brat ruben which was a really neat idea but not well executed. The brat was halved, but wasn't distributed evenly, it was like eating a hot dog between two pieces of bread. The rye bread wasn't fully toasted (or toasted at all? not sure) so a firm brat between two pieces of bread really wasn't an attractive or satisfying presentation. It was tasty, but could be improved.I really liked the Wisconsin take on traditional menu items. We saw a plate of german nachos (more brats!) being delivered and they were piled HIGH. There's definitely more to try, and I think with a few small adjustments these minor issues can be overcome. Certainly worth a stop on a nice day.
Nice place, good service. Like the outside seating.

Fond Du Lac downtown offers yet another remarkable spot to explore. Steeped in rich German heritage, this place undoubtedly boasts an array of outstanding food choices and exceptional beer. What truly sets it apart is the warm and friendly staff, who are always outgoing and ready to make your experience unforgettable. The vibrant atmosphere draws a fun-loving crowd, and to top it off, live music brings an extra touch of excitement. It's simply impossible not to fall in love with this hidden gem.
