About Friar Tuck's

Friar Tuck's is a popular restaurant known for its friendly staff and good service. The atmosphere is dark, reflecting the theme of where Friars live, but the Christmas lights help make it easier to see. Inside feels like a supper club, with a large bar and some gambling machines. The restaurant is not very big, featuring several booths and tables. Chairs are very low to the ground, but larger tables can be found in the corners. The menu includes the Friar Tuck theme in its titles, though the decor is simple. The food is standard, with favorites such as French onion soup, roast beef sandwich (french dip), and a cheeseburger. The French onion soup is good, hot, and topped with plenty of cheese, though a little greasy. The cheeseburger is cooked to perfection and very large, with a homemade bun. The prime rib sandwich is good but a bit fatty, and the crispy chicken salad is just okay, using pre-bagged mix. Kids meals are generous, with mini corn dogs and chicken tenders that are not fatty. The fried cauliflower was a favorite, and mozzarella sticks were crunchy but typical. The homemade bread served with the soup is a plus. Drinks like Sprecher rootbeer are enjoyed, and the staff, especially long-time servers, are attentive and helpful. Despite some long waits and slow service at times, the experience is positive, with affordable prices and good-tasting meals. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible in many areas, though the front door has a step and the bathrooms are not wheelchair friendly. Overall, Friar Tuck's remains a place where guests can enjoy great food and friendly service in a cozy, old-fashioned setting.

Had an awesome time at Friar Tucks last night for our dad's birthday party. Atmosphere was relaxing. Food was delicious. And I like to make a special shout out to our waitress Ellie. She was amazing. Also thank you to the anonymous person that paid for our drinks. I highly recommend this place. And will definitely go back again. Thank you for making our evening rememberable.

We just finished celebrating my husbands’s birthday. There were 7 of us. The first waitress got a table ready for us, but our whole wasn’t there yet so she gave that table to another party of 7. We understood that. So we waited for the rest to get there and they soon had us setting at the round table in the naughty corner. Our waitress was Ellie- what a wonderful, spunky, funny, girl who went above and beyond for us. She absolutely fit right in with our family. Thank You...read full review

Took our waitress 20 min to get our drinks, an hour to get 4 meals only to send our child’s mini corn dogs back because they were not cooked all the way. Food comes to the table still frozen or cold. The staff walks over the high hairs that have children sitting in them with heavy trays. Every time we go there, we are disappointed. 3 strikes and we are finally done with giving them our business.
