Perfect in the mall

When we first moved to Fond du Lac, in 2002, I was surprised that such a small community had a mall. Sure, it was small, but all the storefronts were full and there always seemed to be something going on. Fast forward to 2018 and the place has become a mere shadow of what it was. Sears and JC Penney's closed down a while ago and Younker's just recently closed its doors. Nor have they filled the old movie theater-closed numerous years ago, and 2 large restaurant sites remain unfilled for quite a while. The owners of this place need to do something. Either try to revitalize the place, by some who attracting new tenants (I hear the rent is crazy expensive) or just tear the place down, but just allowing it to limp along isn't doing anyone, the owners, the tenants, or the community any good.

I come to this mall every year in February. Why? Because I go sturgeon fishing on Lake Winnebago. And each year this mall gets more and more dumpier. Time for it to be demolished. Only a handful ( 5 or 6) stores is open now. The only two good stores now is Bath and Body Works and Hot Topic. Otherwise, don't waste your time here.

Their premium fruit smoothies are delicious and the store owner is very nice!

There's not a whole lot to do in this mall, but it has enough to suit my needs -- department stores, a decent sized Hot Topic, and best of all... A pretty good arcade with my favorite arcade game: [low voice] "The House... Of the Dead." The gun is in very good shape, but it has the hardest setting (max. 3 lives). I still completed it with 1 credit though. Apart from the arcade, Forest Mall is technically "just another mall", but I could honestly kill time here if I lived in the Fox Valley. :)

I am extremely disgusted. Everything about this place is awful. If I had the choice, they would get zero stars. First, their smoothies are not made with any real fruit. All smoothies are made from concentrate filled with sugar. Also, their food items look like they've been there for days. I highly suggest to not eat anything from there unless you want to end up sick. Also, they maintain their own hours aside from the regular mall hours. Leaving signs when they are on break. All I wanted was a bottled water. After waiting 5 minutes and after discovering that their cooler wasn't even on, I left. Terrible management, terrible food, terrible service.

The Go Calendars and Games store isn't what we hoped. When my daughter inquired about a game they had out for sale, the clerk told her she couldn't sell it to her because she was planning to ship it out. It was shown as a item for sale and she refused to let her buy it. We won't be going in there ever again.

I have been to this mall in Fond du lac. I think it is a very nice clean mall. Comparing it to Memorial Mall in Sheboygan , it was a treat! All it needs is people to 'pay attention' to it! It had many quality stores throughout, Yonkers, Sears, and others . I am from Bay View in Milwaukee and I WISH we had an indoor mall. Hey, when it is gone, YOU WILL BE Sorry! It is a nice place just to do easy shopping, and stay WARM While stretching your legs! Walking! Do not let this place close. Memorial Mall in Sheboygan is just about empty. Very SAD. Another waste of an indoor mall. For Memorial Mall is also clean, kept up nicely.

818 pm and it is closed. When hours posted online says it closes at 9 pm... disappointed

The younger guy that was working tonight 02/18/16 is a complete A*** THIS IS NOW THE 2ND TIME WE HAVE WENT THERE WITH HIM WORKING and he has given us nothing but attitude. Order a smoothie and he acts like it's a chore and gets all sparky with not just the adults but teens and younger children as well. WE LOVE stopping here while shopping but as long as he is working we won't be stopping for anything!

Our mall needs a serious upgrade! Bath and body works is the only store in it I really get excited over!

Probably the worst mall I've ever been to. Was built in 1973 and hasn't changed much. As soon as I like a store they have, it closes because they say the rent is too high. Don't know how it stays open. Lost Sears and JcPenney already. Really sad.

When I was a kid, Forest Mall had a good variety of mid-range chain stores and decent little snack shops. It was busy, and an attractive destination for those lived in a town without much else. My most recent trip (December 2014) was just bad news. One of the anchor stores, JCPenney, has, of course, closed it's doors. Kohl's seems to have a larger than usual "Ladies" (as opposed to Juniors) section, but seems par for the chain. Younkers is just a sad, sad shadow of it's former self. Dirty, disorganized, and I've seen better fixtures in a Salvation Army store. The mall itself, which used to have a nice fountain/common area, is no longer an enjoyable shopping environment (dirty, mis-matched linoleum flooring, too). I've been to inner city malls that look better and cleaner. This is definitely a get in/get out kind of retail experience. Ick.

It's only gotten worse in the last 6 months. Now both Sears and JCPenny are closed and boarded up as well as the movie theaters in the front of the mall. It's depressing to even go in there. Time for the bulldozers to come in and start over as this model just does not work for this city. Many malls around the country are dying if they don't come up with a new business model to draw people in. But Fond du Lac is never going a trendsetter or leader so it will die a slow ugly death.
