On the way to Chicago I stopped at this restaurant, very good food, except that the sauces seem sweet, perhaps because they are focused on light-weight customers. Hopefully, they can make the sauces spicy so as not to ask for extra chilis ???????

Great food. Tastes great and huge portions, usually have leftovers. The service is very good too. Very polite with many check-ins to see how we are doing during the meal.
Lately there are employees who are giving terrible service, they leave a lot to be desired.

Definitely recommend eating here. Food is amazing and you get more than your moneys worth. I have always taken half my food home. Our waitress today was amazing! Ask for Darly She explained everything to us we asked and was one of the best waitresses we have ever had.

Darly was an AMAZING waitress! She was constantly coming by our table to check on us and get us anything we needed. She even let us know about a special deal going on where we could get a free drinking glass with our margaritas! She gave us plastic bags, a cup for our queso, and to go boxes without us even asking for it. She was very attentive and exceeded expectations. We WILL be back again!! ?

This is the second time my husband & I have eaten here. Both times we've had Darly as our server. She is wonderful! Friendly, efficient & such a delight to have for a server! We love the food & definitely recommend the place. We had a super burrito & a chimichonga. Food was hot & delicious. The new edition is nice.
We waited 10 minutes at our table before anyone ever came to get our drink orders and so we ordered at the same time. The food itself was great for 3 of our 4 meals. We were only offered a refill when he dropped off our food and when he came to see if we needed boxes. We were never asked if we needed more chips after we finished the first basket of them. I haven't been here for about a year and we used to come often. I have never had service this bad here before. I hope it was just a one off. It wasn't busy at all.

This is a generous 3 stars.My food was very ordinary, everyone else said theirs was good. I'll assume my food was a one-off, but it was enough I can't give 5* overall.The service was poor. I haven't had that poor of service anywhere in a long time. We waited 10 minutes at the table before someone acknowledged us, we got a "see you when you get food, a passing how-is-everything touch point, gate plates away, give the check" experience. There was no attention paid to us beyond that. For 4 people, we got chips at the start and that was it; not even a "would you like more chips?" offer once.If the restaurant was busy, I could excuse some of that. It wasn't. This wasn't a "I won't be back" visit, but it's definitely a "I'm not interested in going back any time soon" visit.

My family and I went to Riviera May Mexican Bar and Grill tonight and what really frustrated me was the lack of any handicap parking, no parking lined spaces, creating a problem for me to walk the distance to the back door. The 2 handicap signs were in a bucket and rolled up onto the sidewalk of the back door. There are strict ADA rules each city enforces. Their comment "we've been under construction". True but For about 3-4 years now! The second thing my family and I noticed (which we then started warning other customers) was that the bill included the tip (even single orders like mine) and the gal was asking those paying with cards to check the tip. I called out the gal for doing this and of course acted like she didn't understand what I was talking about. I just wanted to post to warn other customers of this scam. Our waiters were awesome and service was good.
