The walleye still had the skin on and was slimy. When I asked they said if you cut the skin off the fillet would fall apart, which isn’t true. Both my soup and creamed spinach were clearly plated a while before being brought out as they weren’t hot and had that film over the top that cream based products get if they sit out too long. My husbands steak was supposed to be rare but was pretty much medium. Then the apple raspberry pie was terrible. Also dressed up tap water in a nice chilled glass bottle, but was definitely tap water, which was awful. Will not be going back.

4th time eating here, have tried something different each time this time had the steak au poivre cooked medium came out perfect. Guys at the bar were also great after dinner. Great cocktails.

I had the potatoe leek soup. It was very overworked, very starchy - like eating paste. The perogies were unlike any I've had veggie but they weren't bad. The panko- crusted walleye was supposed to have garlic, panko, parsley and lemon. It was walleye with garlic and standard bread crumbs. No parsley. No lemon. The garlic mashed potatoes were fine. The bartender was nice. Cocktails were good.

Overall I was very disappointed. Would not recommend.

My husband and I chose Table One to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We looked over the menu in the days leading up to the big date and my husband decided on the pork chop, while I decided on steak. We enjoyed cocktails expertly made for us by Brighton who is an exemplary bartender. Our waitress, Dovie, was friendly and prompt. However, the restaurant was out of pork chops and steaks. Huh? How could they allow this to happen? Arent these two memu items considered staples? Being disappointed like this was a disheartening situation in an otherwise festive evening and perhaps indicative of mis-management.

Amelia was great wait staff. The ribeye with blue cheese, broccolini and Brussels sprouts was great.
Bar was a little slow but no complaints as the bartender was giving special attention to his bar guests.

Great atmosphere and food. I've eaten here whenever staying at the hotel. The food is always excellent. The service is OK. It's always seemed like they were understaffed for as busy as it has been. The servers are incredibly busy and try very hard, but meals always take longer than they should. I should add that I typically eat here with a large group, which probzbly doesn't help.

Great atmosphere. The fifth or sixth time I've eaten here. The food has varied from fantastic to ok. The service the same. They to keep staffing to a minimum, but on a Friday night, we waited 2.5 hours for a complete meal. Our server was running and it was clear they were understaffed. We watched people walk out. So while they save money minimally staffing, they lose customers. It used to be fantastic with everything (four-five years ago) but now, it's hit and miss.

The food was really good. The service was very slow. We were only one of three tables occupied at 5:30 on a Saturday night, hardly anyone at the bar, and it took forever. We expected a slower evening which is why we booked a nicer restaurant but this was excruciatingly slow. It was to the point we thought they forgot about us. Other than that, the evening was nice.

My girls and I have done the brunch/dinners at hotel retlaw for a few years now. With the price increase, the slow service, and now including the gratuity on my bill...I do not think we will be returning. All of the food had the same texture, mushy, warm, soft. Also I paid 37.40 for gratuity, with my server only bringing myself 2 drinks which took a long time. Total bill was 258.00. This is shocking... Hotel retlaw had it, but after the changes, 250$ is better spent some place else.

We've been taking the kids here almost every year for the Easter and Christmas brunch buffet. Not anymore. To start the hostess and server both told us it was "open bar" (they used to give you drink tickets included in the fee). I take the kids to get juice and whatnot and they ask me how I would like to pay. I mentioned that two different people said it was open bar and they said only milk and chocolate milk are included. Well no one told us that. Not the end of the world but annoying nonetheless. We saw the server twice (not that we needed him), once when we got there to welcome us and lose his train of thought and mention it was too early in the morning (it was 10am). Then again saw him to get the check (back to that in a minute). We went and got food and four of us got scrambled eggs and bacon among other things. We sit down to eat and the eggs and bacon were ice cold. At least the waffles were good. They clearly weren't prepared when this began. After a very mediocre meal at what's supposed to be a high end establishment we got the check. 235 DOLLARS!!! for two children and 3 adults!!! This place has never been cheap but you have got to be kidding me. Its never been anywhere near this much. They even took the liberty of including a mandatory 18% gratuity for a server that does absolutely nothing other than say hi when you get there and bring the check when you're done. Goodbye Hotel Retlaw (or TableOne). You will never see us again.

The restaurant is beautiful, and our server was prompt and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The french onion soup had virtually no taste, except it was somewhat sweet. We couldn't eat it. The ceasar salad dressing was spicy and tasted so strongly of horseradish that it was barely edible. The chicken sandwich was extremely dry. I'm not sure what went wrong here, but this really bad.

1st time here and had the privilege of getting a brand new server, Dovie that did an amazing job for her 1st night. She was fun and engaged with our group. Food and drinks were also great.

First off: kudos to marcus the bartender for a great cocktail. He was great for being new there. Thats where it ends. Our waitress was so rude and incompetent i had to get up feom my table to order my own wine. She never asked if we needed anything after bringing our food, looked directly at our table 5, yes 5 times to maybe check on us but decided to go to all the other tables. I wanted tonorder dessery but by the time she came around i just wanted to leave. I told my friend not to leave a tip. Now for the food: i was ordered the spotted cow walleye. The outside was overcooked while the breading was mushy on the inside and the fish was so bland i had to stop eating it. The chips they make werent any better. And the coleslaw came out of a bag with way too much sugar in their dressing. When a guest at the hotel has to doordash arbys while sitting at the restaurant you knownits bad. Really super cool experience for my birthday weekend celebration. Would not recommend. I was so upset i had to go back to my room to cry for a while. Never have i ever been treated that way by a waitress anywhere. You get better service at a truck stop diner.
