The choices on the menu were limited and expensive for what you get. The food quality was very good and the wine was good. Service was above average.

We went to 240 West for Sunday brunch. We were a bit early, but they had a table available so we were seated about 5 minutes before our reservation. The buffet area is smaller that it used to be but there is still a good variety of food from which to choose. Several people in out party took shrimp which was not suitable for consumption. I asked for a slice of beef but after it was cut, I turned it down because it was not close to being cooked. The person at the omelet station did accommodate me when I requested a dry frying pan (no oil) for cooking my scrambled eggs The worst part of the brunch is the piano playing. I will admit it was better this time than previous times, but the room where the brunch is held has very poor acoustics and a loud piano along with 50 or 60 people trying to be heard above the piano while they are eating does not make for a pleasant experience. I honestly don't think the piano players add anything to the brunch experience except noise. I don't mean any offense to the piano players, one was quite good, but there is no way to get away from them so if you want a quiet brunch to enjoy the food and good conversation, this may not be the place to go..

Our steaks (strip steak and filet) were done exactly as we ordered and were delicious. The artichoke bisque was unique and very tasty. The mashed potatoes were served hot in a heated bowl that kept them warm for the whole meal. My wife loved the bread. My only regret is that the new menu eliminated mushrooms as a side, as the mushrooms would have been a perfect complement to the steaks.

Food wasn't as high quality as in the past. Lobster was canned, mashed potatoes seemed to be instant, steak wasn't seasoned right. Service was great.

Waited 30 minutes for Giant Cheesecake that was smaller than a dessert from a fast food restaurant.

We had to wait a while to be seated even though we had a reservation. Also a wait to be served also. But once we ordered, our server was excellent and the food delicious.

Very pleasant environment as always with the view of the marina. Fantastic bronzino and flourless chocolate cake. Very attentive waitress.

The restaurant was pretty empty as it was a Sunday evening. The food was pretty blah, way too pedestrian for the price. One person in our party had to return the chicken as it was so dry, it was inedible. The salmon was overcooked and bland. I do not recommend.

We normally go to 240 West for breakfast and choose the breakfast buffet which you cannot really go wrong with. Buffet consists of scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, sausage, French toast, bacon, fresh OJ and fruit among other things. The staff was attentive and kept our coffee flowing. As with most places nowadays, the prices continue to increase through the years. Bottom line: If you prefer to stay on the resort, this is a solid choice for a meal.

Pleasantly surprised on the quality of the food and selection. Service was slow to clear plates and provide refills on water and drinks.

The Food was great, well prepared, staff personable and professional. we were celebrating our Anniversary at the place we honeymooned years ago. We came on a Monday with a taste for pork chops. Unfortunately, they were out until Thursday. That was a bummer.

Food was very average. Crabs were poor quality. Shrimp were tasteless. The hot choices were very average. Meatloaf was awful looking and poor tasting. Turkey was poorly presented. Desserts were limited and of very average quality Service was marginal and needed more servers to handle the people seated Compared to Easter buffet this was a C-

After we left the abbey resorts waterfront restraunt we heard someone on the piano, and it sounded like the piano was being played by someone who just loves to play so we just had to go upstairs and investigate, and as we walked into the bar we found David just jamming out on the ivorys and it was a pure joy to listen as he played, since we are staying at the abbey resort and we don't have to drive, sitting down for a few cocktails was an easy choice to make, I ordered the maple bourbon old fashion and I'm glad I did, overall for a hotel bar its a nice place to relax and the staff was friendly and polite and best of all I don't have to drive home and a risk dui LOL btw our bartender a friendly young man was excellent, sadly I didn't catch his name
