Fort 88 Smokehouse Reviews
Used to like to go to 88 though recently were there and the coleslaw was rancid They brought back “fresh” and it was still bad Smelled like it had been left out Tried going back again today and the hostess was very rude, they sat us at a table with hard chairs and we wanted a booth because of back issues We moved to the booth next to us and one woman was kind and said she’d go clear a booth for us as they needed the tables for an event, at that point we thought...read full review
Just went for my birthday dinner and had awesome service and DELICIOUS food & drinks!! We will definitely be back!
Service was slow. The food was not even smoked. Then even with staff standing around they refused to separate checks. Claimed they told us that in the beginning and they did not. Gone three different times trying to give it a chance and three strikes and they are out. The Arby’s down the street has better brisket and staff was way nicer.

Fort 88 Smokehouse is a local favorite, known for its delicious smoked wings with a Cajun dry rub and a selection of local beers. The friendly bartender and excellent waitstaff provide prompt and attentive service, ensuring a great experience for all guests. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible. Must-try dishes include the full rack of ribs, which are served with generous portions. The food is highly praised, with juicy pulled pork and tender brisket. The kid's chicken tenders are fantastic, and the cornbread muffin has a unique fluffiness. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, making it a fun place to be. Service remains attentive without being intrusive. The wings are well smoked and juicy, while the battered homemade cheese curds are outstanding. The prime rib sandwiches look delicious, and the smoked pulled chicken and pork are cooked to perfection. The habanero BBQ sauce adds just the right amount of heat, and the portions are ample.
