The food is the star at Wegners. They know how to prepare fish fries and they serve the singularly best potato pancakes in Wisconsin. They are too tight on space but the service is efficient and welcoming. They could expand the seating anytime they like.It is a Wisconsin classic
This is a nice supper club. Service was excellent and friendly. German food on the menu, if you like that. I don't eat meat, so the chef made me a pasta dish with vegetables. They did have fish, but I preferred pasta. Spent $27, which included tip.
Long wait for the fish fry even after opening! Fish was good, but had a bone. Would definitely go back again though! Worth the wait. Not much of a bar area to wait around in. Was standing area only. Coleslaw and pancakes were really good as well!
