Loved my black bean breakfast scrambler! Have had great tacos and great hot and mild salsa as well!

We came around dinner hour, it's a remote spot with easy access, and not where one would expect to find wonderfully authentic latin cuisine. It's a cozy location with a moody atmosphere, thematic music playing that sets the ambience well. Started out with appetizer chips and salsa (spicy and mild), well seasoned. Didn't take too long from order to food arrival, and boy did it come out stunning. We ordered a set of Tamales, Mole carnitas, and a Fajita shrimp plate, and none of it disappointed. The portions were generous and suffice to say, I look forward to reminiscing our time at Piña tomorrow by finishing my leftovers!

We had the shrimp fajitas, quesabirrias, and the trio enchiladas — everything was super tasty! The flavors were amazing and felt really fresh. The place is small but cozy, which makes it feel welcoming. Great food, great vibe. Definitely coming back!

Baked Nachos.
This appetizer consisted of tortilla chips topped with melted cheese, lettuce, Pico de gallo, pickled jalapeños, guacamole, and sour cream.
Protein options were chicken or beef. Steak or barbacoa were options for an additional charge.
I chose the steak.
The chips to topping ratio was balanced.
The portion size wasnt enough for one adult.
The pricing was reasonable.
Overall, the appetizer was ok. The toppings werent distributed evenly, leaving chips with little to no cheese and or others toppings. While the flavor was ok, the appetizer lacked a layer of flavor.
I would not order this appetizer again.
