I gave it all high stars. The people that work there are hard-working, so friendly and welcoming, not being from the area. It's nice to go in and not be stared at prices are very reasonable. Food is very, very good.
We stopped by after a day of hiking and their special was lasagna with garlic toast. It was BEST lasagna we’ve had at a restaurant in years. Clearly homemade, lots of meat in it, and so large neither of us could finish it. We enjoyed the leftovers the next morning for breakfast.
The atmosphere was rustic in a western cafe way, and very friendly. Smiles all around.

It's a small place and I imagine it fills up quickly. Half the dining room was full and the only sound was a customer cussing at the bar, conversing with the bartender. Some sort of background music would've been nice. This definitely felt like a tavern that serves food, compared to a restaurant with a bar. Both the waitress & bartender were friendly and welcoming.
