“We both tried pasties for the first time. Rigonis shipped them to us. OMG so delicious! We will visit in person this summer to try the other flavors!!!! Thank you!! PS I baked an extra one which is far too much for one meal. Tomorrow morning I will break it up and fry up in some butter with over easy eggs on it. Can't wait!!!”
“Bartenders were awesome! Didn't live up to their names - Mean and Surly. 🤣 Great vibe, solid beer. I send a lot of folks here and they always enjoy!”

“This was our third stop for pasties on our road trip through Michigan and the UP. Previous stops were Superior Coffee in Sault Ste Marie and Muldoon's in Munising.
Joe's has been making pasties for 78 years (since 1946), so it might be the oldest pasty shop in Michigan.
We tried the traditional and the Finnish. I'm a big fan of the Finnish because I prefer the depth of flavor you get with the carrots and rutabaga.
Both pasties were perfectly cooked. The flavors were really good. I just wish they offered gravy.
Unlike some pasties we've had, Joe's didn't *need* gravy – it was perfectly moist. I just love gravy ?
Definitely stop at Joe's if you're looking for a great pasty! They're reasonably priced, delicious, and made with grass fed ground beef.”

“Our landlord took us here. I was the one that just drank water, but I loved the meat and cheese tray!!! I definitely want to come back and get the intergalactic cheese tray as that intrigues me. And I'm glad I get to live in a hallmark movie!”

“Stopped in for pizza. It was absolutely fantastic! Crunchy crust with the perfect amount of sauce to topping ratio. Best pizza I've had in years! Their garlic cheese bread was just as good as the pizza! Well worth the 130 mile drive!!”
“Great place to have a burger and a beer. The sister of the owner was there and she was just an awesome lady. Unfortunately, we were told that they’re going to be closing in the fall.”

“I recently visited Nora's Red Carpet Lounge at 118 Silver St, in Hurley, WI. I was visiting the Hurley area and walked from my hotel and walked into Nora's. I was pleasantly greeted and ordered my beverage. The bartender was fantastic and we were able to talk as we watched football. The people at the bar were real friendly as well and I enjoyed my time talking to them as well. A good place to go and enjoy the night.
Parking: No problem parking”
“A chill place to have a cocktail or beer. Each time we have been in the bartenders were great to talk to. The stained glass skier is neat. Next time we will have dinner!”

“My traveling companion said that the Italian omelette he had a week ago yesterday was the best omelette he ever had. I nabbed a bite and he was correct. My biscuits and gravy with fried eggs weren't bad either. When we're ever in Ironwood Mike's will be our go to place. Thank you, Dan Walker, Rhinelander Wisconsin.”

“Went to Bigpowderhorn for skiing for a day. After a tiring session, enjoyed a really good luch and a break time here. I ordered cruchy carnita pork sandwich, it was perfectly cooked melting meat and well seasoned. They also have two KBC beers on tap, so being from Houghton that's always a good thing!”
