Been multiple times. They lease space within the grocery store which also has local goods like jam and honey plus seasonal vegetables. Worth the drive. A step back in time feeling

“We had 2 couples stay at Cabin #3, Up Up & Away. What an awesome place. Quiet, peaceful, clean, cozy, in-floor heat, and huge windows overlooking the small lake. Adequately stocked kitchen with nice appliances and dishwasher. Plenty of towels, nice shower. Bed and linens were nice. We appreciated the many hooks on the walls for jackets in the main room and in bedroom for clothes. Would definitely stay again.”

“I get to Mercer a few times a year, and when visiting this quaint little town a trip to Heart of the North is a must. The food is amazing! The Seafood Bake, Prime Rib and Lobster and Mac & Cheese are phenomenal. Our service has always been great, drinks are wonderful and we love the entertainment! Heart of the North is a real gem!”
