Cool little spot to try some Nepalese or Chinese. At first, I was confused because they show up as two different places. The Chinese and Nepalese restaurant are combined. When you sit down, the waitress brings two menus, which is interesting. I had some cauliflower curry from the Nepalese menu, and it was DELICIOUS! There was lots of ginger and heavy spices (which I appreciate). The rice was over cooked and the chai tea tasted like it was from an instant mix, but the curry was so good that it overrode those drawbacks in my rating.

Excited to have this in the neighborhood but ordered three times and each time the chicken was like chewing leather.
My mom and I have had Everest Cafe on our list for a while, as we really like Himalayan food. We stopped in one day for a late lunch recently. There were only two other customers and one staff person. Service was good. Our waitress was very unobtrusive. The decor is fairly old school and a little generic, but not objectionable.I had steamed vegetable momos, which are a weakness of mine. They were good. The sauce was not what I was accustomed too, being neither like Himal Chuli in Madison nor the cheel's, but it was good and fresh tasting.Mom tried the deep fried pork version which was stuffed with pork. She enjoyed them and BF enjoyed her leftover dumplings. She also ordered sesame chicken from the Chinese menu. She liked it, but it was a huge portion and heavily sauced,We will go back I think, when we need a momocha fix. Solid option.

Delightful Himalayan/Nepalese culinary experience! Our lunch was quite enjoyable, with a highlight being the delicious dishes. The service was efficient, although the waiter's demeanour, while efficient, struck us as a bit assertive. This made us feel a tad uneasy, given that we were two males entering to dine together. Despite this, the food truly stood out with its excellence, leaving us with a positive overall impression. We would certainly consider returning for another delightful meal!

Food was delicious. Would definitely return. We tried all of the Nepalese cuisine and delighted at the flavors. Check it out if in the area!

Excellent Nepalese food! We had the veggie Momo and chicken lo mien(on Nepalese menu) and were very pleasantly surprised! The spice combination for both was great and the sauce served with the Momo hit the spot! They serve both Chinese and Nepalese food here. Also, we almost walked out when we first got there due to a sewer-like smell. It's not overpowering but you do notice it. The place is clean so it's probably something the restaurant cannot help.
