It has been a very long time since I have experienced a superb restaurant serving exotic Nepalese dishes. Sometimes memories are hard to compete with. Most actual dishes just do not dance on your palate the same way you remembered them. Surprised to hear that Cafe Everest was so close to my travel area, I decided to give them a try. Cool little spot to try some Nepalese or Chinese. At first, I was confused because they show up as two different places. The Chinese and Nepalese restaurant are combined. When you sit down, the waitress brings two menus, which is interesting. I had some cauliflower curry from the Nepalese menu, and it was DELICIOUS! Excellent Nepalese food! We had the veggie Momo and chicken lo mien(on Nepalese menu) and were very pleasantly surprised! The spice combination for both was great and the sauce served with the Momo hit the spot! They serve both Chinese and Nepalese food here. Also, we almost walked out when we first got there due to a sewer-like smell. It's not overpowering but you do notice it. The place is clean so it's probably something the restaurant cannot help.
