“Small restaurants located within a strip mall that was a fluke discovery moving into a neighborhood a few miles West of Glendale, 16 years ago. It's been a go to for all these years. They are busy every time I go in with take out orders. Everything we've eaten has been very good fron the salt & pepper shrimp (entirely encased in their shells), pepper steak and sweet & sour chicken to their spring and egg rolls. You get plenty of food for money $. Staff are very nice as well.“

“It has been a very long time since I have experienced a superb restaurant serving exotic Nepalese dishes. Sometimes memories are hard to compete with. Most actual dishes just do not dance on your palate the same way you remembered them. Surprised to hear that Cafe Everest was so close to my travel area, I decided to give them a try. I had little in expectations as the blending of spices is a delicate formula and many have tried but none came close to my memories. Each bite led me to another, the spices brought me back to the same conclusions after each and every bite "oh this is good it is really good. I was and am delighted. Everest Cafe you found a devoted customer. "Hmmmm this is good this is really good!"“

“If you’re looking for a place to eat before a show at the Pabst Theatre put this place on your list. We were a group of 4 and we each tried something different. Everything was excellent! Rum runner cocktails, Spring rolls, Hunan beef, Mongolian beef, garlic chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The owner Robert was our server and he was the nicest guy! “I came across Wok 2 Go about 4 years ago and have gotten Chinese take out here exclusively since then. I often get lunch here (excellent Kung Pao Chicken) and place big orders for family takeout night. The food is always freshly made, in generous portions and made very quickly. Yum Yum!“

“I pride myself in leaving honest reviews, and I'm genuinely surprised that the reviews here are not better.

The most important thing about any restaurant - the quality of the food.... Excellent. We ordered 3 different types of dumplings as well as salad, edamame, and fried rice noodles. Two adults and two children under 4... We literally ate every bite. We are small people. We rarely clean our plates this way at a restaurant. It is so good!!!

The person working here suggested that the pork and beef dumplings are their best ones and that the noodle dishes are great, so we ordered those items.

There was only one person for seating, taking orders, and cooking as best I could tell. Considering there were 3 other tables as well as carryout orders the food came pretty fast.

Please, please, please try it out. You won't be disappointed and we want to come back here repeatedly - that means they need patrons to keep coming! If you love it leave a review! We need restaurants like this around here and not chains. So good I literally didn't want to leave the restaurant without writing the review.“

“I have ordered from No. 1 Chinese Restaurant several times. Years ago, I thought their quality was so-so. Lately, they've been excellent. I like my Chinese takeout to be fresh, not-gloppy, with crisp vegetables and flavorful, but not too salty. I don't think they use MSG. More recently, I have ordered from their food through Grub Hub. Unfortunately, the last time Grub Hub screwed up and brought me the wrong order. It wasn't No 1's fault. I called No 1. and they sent the correct order, at their own expense. “I usually order the Crab Rangoon & the Large Shrimp Fried Rice. Both are an excellent amount for the price & almost always cooked to perfection. Not all restaurants do Rangoon right. I have to say, they have some of the best. It isn’t overly crispy & filled with a good amount of filling. I’ve never received a dish that wasn’t delicious....
Update: I haven't been there for a good minute. The last two times the chicken was so hard and brittle. I don't know if they were trying to cut costs but it shows. It might be better now but I haven't been willing to try..“

First time at a new Thai 🇹🇭 restaurant, I always try the green curry. It was a hearty bowl that was a little sooner than I usually have it but delicious regardless. I could have probably handled the 4 out 5 level of spice but sent with the 3, which had a nice warmth to it. There's a semi private dining area and a big bar. The place is decorated festively. I can only speak about my experience. The platter was very heavy. I ate off of it 3 times. I had shrimp egg fu young with shrimp fried rice and I added 5 large shrimp. My man had ham fried rice. The gravy is soooo good . Definitely ordering again!“
