Was in the mood for Thai/Lao food so decided on Bamboo. Ordered online for takeout. Placed orders for Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, chicken wings, Lao Sausage, papaya salad Lao style and an order of sticky rice.Food was hot when I took it back to the hotel. Customer service wasn't the best I'm not sure if it was a busy day and the cashier was exhausted or something but I ordered to go.I ordered sesame chicken & I wanted to substitute the white rice for chicken fried rice & I was told I could not substitute the white rice and had to pay for the chicken fried rice entree ($12 for sesame chicken + $13 for chicken fried rice entree + TAX = $28 NEARLY $30 FOR ONE PERSON). So incredibly delicious. The fried rice was seared, the pad thai, not too sweet and the curry was savory. But the Tom Kha reminded me of San Francisco. The food here is really good for take out, but I don’t think I’d dine in.
