I knew my night would be crazy, so I placed a to go order to make sure I got in dinner early. My order consisted of beef pad see ew and pork egg rolls. The pork egg rolls were fantastic. Really good size, fresh ingredients, and amazing flavor. I would order these again in a heartbeat. The pad see ew is ok. I didn't think there was enough egg in it, I wasn't overly fond of the white onion, and both the broccoli and carrot seemed like they were added afterwards and not cooked in the sauce with the noodles and beef because they were harder than expected and didn't absorb any of the flavor of the sauce. Certainly not my favorite pad see ew in the area, but I wouldn't be opposed to getting it again.

Milwaukee has some really good food gems, Bamboo being one of them ! My favorite here is the red curry with chicken. Flavor quality are always consistent here.

Came in to eat as a party of 3 adults and 1 baby. There was a hair in the egg drop soup and when it was brought to the waitress’s attention she first looked at me (Afro Latina) and my baby (Afro Latina). The waitress immediately said it was the baby’s hair by the look of the strand and because my baby was moving around that could be how the hair got there. The soup was located on the other side of the table away from the baby and my daughter was seated in her highchair. Instead of taking the plate away to possibly correct the problem the waitress argued about the hair not being hers and was adamant that it was my baby’s. I will not be returning to this establishment. It was blatant racism.

While dining in, a hair was found in our egg drop soup. Upon bringing it to the female waitress’ attention she gave a judgmental look towards my Afro Latina friend and her one year old daughter. The waitress then proceeded to laugh and then commented how it was the baby’s hair, whom was in a highchair nowhere near the bowl of soup. The soup was on the other side of the table. The waitress proceeded to argue with my other friend when called out for her racist remarks. As the only white person at the table of four, I found this waitress’ attitude and her racial remarks very unprofessional, extremely rude, and inhumane. The waitress took the soup, but continued to make remarks regarding the situation and how it was the baby’s hair in the small dining room. The experience at this restaurant was completely unacceptable and I will make sure to spread the word of this racist establishment to the community.

Very disappointed with the customer service from here. I ordered for the first time after seeing the great reviews. I ordered an extra meal for the next day because there were many things I wanted to try. When I went to warm up my extra meal I realized I was not given the correct order (they repeated the order correctly when it was placed) I called after I realized and before I left a review because I understand mistakes happen, but I was told there is nothing they can do about it, they got short with me, no apology or anything.

Good Lao food, reminds me of home. Service is good for 1 person and always friendly. The vibe there just reminds me of a Lao market (the smell, energy and the cooking u can hear)

So incredibly delicious. The fried rice was seared, the pad thai, not too sweet and the curry was savory. But the Tom Kha reminded me of San Francisco. The food here is really good for take out, but I don’t think I’d dine in.

Was in the mood for Thai/Lao food so decided on Bamboo. Ordered online for takeout. Placed orders for Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, chicken wings, Lao Sausage, papaya salad Lao style and an order of sticky rice.Food was hot when I took it back to the hotel. My gf and I shared this abundance of food. The Pad Kee Mao was wetter than I’m used to. Lacked a bit of flavor. The Pad Thai was decent but could be better. The Lao sausage was ok but a bit over cooked and dry. The sticky rice was a bit dry. The chicken wings were good but a bit dry. Papaya Salad lacked a bit of the umami flavor. The food overall was pretty decent but I’ve had better. I think food is more Laotian style than Thai especially the pad Thai and pad Kee Mao. I rather stick to my other spot for Thai noodle dishes down the road.

Customer service wasn't the best I'm not sure if it was a busy day and the cashier was exhausted or something but I ordered to go.I ordered sesame chicken & I wanted to substitute the white rice for chicken fried rice & I was told I could not substitute the white rice and had to pay for the chicken fried rice entree ($12 for sesame chicken + $13 for chicken fried rice entree + TAX = $28 NEARLY $30 FOR ONE PERSON). If i could have substituted the rice it would have been much cheaper but overall the food was really good even the plain white rice.UPDATE- I have returned many different times after this to dine in with my kids & have been treated much better than my initial experience. Also, I received bigger portions when I dined in.

The food was fire and truly authentic. The Lao papaya salad was authentic to the T: it had padek which is fermented fish. The beef pho was amazing and was such a comfort to enjoy. This will be my go to place for authentic Lao food.

It's the real deal! Fresh made with love from hands that are the culture of this delicious food. Don't expect much for the interior dine in experience except quality service and perfectly seasoned food at a reasonable price. We were able to feed three people with leftovers on less than $50 including tip. Don't miss it if you want Thai or Lao flavors. Yum!
