We had chicken Pho.
The broth was very delicious sweet and strong. Added one spoon of chilli oil and the spice level was perfect for me. They gave garnish, which had Ming bean sprouts and lemon and basil. The quantity is perfect
Can’t wait to come during winter.
The ambience is so so, but they have been here for 22 yrs it seems.
I love my favorite dish, Pad Sieew. Great food, homey atmosphere, nice staff, affordable prices.

I got the beef jerky, beef pho, and thai iced coffee. EVERYTHING was amazing!!!!

Located in Silver City, Vientiane Noodle Shop | The Original serves the best noodles in Milwaukee. This excellent local restaurant offers absolutely spectacular food, with dishes like the Shrimp Pad Kee Mao, which is fantastic as always. The noodle soups are the star of the show, featuring a complex broth with tamarind and lemongrass perfection. The khao poun nam seen and kan kau-lau are standouts, with the latter taking first place. The fried chicken is very good with an excellent sauce, and the mango sticky rice does exactly what it needs to do with a very big portion for $7. The pho is really good and flavorful, with fresh broth, soft noodles, and a good amount of meat. The bee boun is also recommended. A spicy papaya salad sets the whole tone for the meal. Great portions, great price, fresh, prompt, and diverse. The staff is helpful, especially during the National Ave construction. This place always fixes cravings for lao food, and it is a first stop on a return trip to Milwaukee.
