“DanDan is delicious and I can’t wait to come back! The General Tao’s cauliflower was the best I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the DanDan Noodles and Sichuan Pork Dumplings which both had amazing flavor and were quite filling. The Golden Pineapple drink was incredible and I’m still thinking about it! Next time I’m going to explore deeper into the menu and drink list.“

“If you’re looking for a place to eat before a show at the Pabst Theatre put this place on your list. We were a group of 4 and we each tried something different. Everything was excellent! Rum runner cocktails, Spring rolls, Hunan beef, Mongolian beef, garlic chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The owner Robert was our server and he was the nicest guy! He made us feel welcome and told us all about his restaurant. He has been open here for 30 years and no wonder. Great food and friendly staff, we will definitely be back! Thank you Robert!“

“My 1st time here, the portions were large. The food was excellent, the chicken noodle soup had more chicken than noodles. There is a lot of chicken fried rice left, i told my wife, i don't eat that...... she said great , because its the best she has ever tasted. the beef and broccoli was excellent.“

“I’m from NJ and one thing I loved while living there is Egg fu young ! This was my first time ordering from Oriental Express and let me tell you it DID NOT disappoint. I can only speak about my experience. The platter was very heavy. I ate off of it 3 times. I had shrimp egg fu young with shrimp fried rice and I added 5 large shrimp. My man had ham fried rice. The gravy is soooo good . Definitely ordering again!“

The old Buffet area has been converted to a RuYi and Fire Pit combo to-go service or pick-up and dine-in this large area. While the long lines were worth the wait, you no longer have to stand around in the lobby. “Cheap but well-kept buffet. They keep prices down by using strofoam bowls and dishes, and plastic ware. But its tastey and inexpensive. Staff are not inviting or friendly (no smiles) and you prepay before seating and eating, so dont tip till you're done. I suggest going further South on Hwy 100 to Waha for everything better, but I wouldnt slam New China if I had to go again, like Tuesdays when Waha is closed. Bathrooms could use a remodel too.“

“The food is great very similar to Wongs Wok which this location actually used to be. That’s what I was looking for. Food wise need to ease up on the onions for a filler and LESS SALT/no msg. I don’t have any complaints about customer service the employees are always friendly. The only thing is sometimes it can be a long wait, they are extremely busy most of the time. But that’s a good thing right? Lol so it may bother some, I don’t mind. Sit on your phone or watch the TV they have on. I gave it four stars on atmosphere only because it’s more of it to go place. There’s no cleanliness issues to speak of or anything like that you can eat there and there’s plenty of seating it’s just it is mostly to go place if you get what I mean. I go here anytime I’m on that side of town.“
