“Most of the food was delicious. I ordered chicken egg foo yung, sweet n sour chicken, orange chicken, chicken fried rice and a house egg roll! That egg roll was horrible and the reason for the 4 stars. Tasted old! Customer service was a plus and my food was prepared fast. I'll return!“
“Excellent and very friendly! We wanted a sit down restaurant for lunch, but most in Wauwatosa only sold carry out. We were very lucky to find this great, convenient Cantonese sit down restaurant. Wonderful food, great service and the lunch size serving actually gave me 3 meals! Thanks!! We will be back soon! Keep up the great food and service!“
“The place has someone answering the phone that speaks good English. Food is delish. Nice portions for today's prices. Got crab ragoon, sweet and sour chicken pork fried rice and egg roll combo, shrimp and mushrooms, and shrimp fried rice. All were bomb dot com. Will.be “
“Ordered delivery via their website. The food arrived quickly and the driver was very nice. I got the pineapple chicken which tastes great (not spicy enough for me personally!) then the chicken fried rice which was pretty plain. Still giving a 5/5 because I have a feeling I’ll be back! Ps large portion “
“The food is always great here. Relaxed atmosphere. Josh who was at the host station was such a delight. He engaged us and helped to make our dinner even better. Josh is management material and deserves a raise. Ariana was an excellent server as well. She had a great smile and was so sweet.Vegetarian options: I had the Buddha delight but there are 5 other vegetarian options for entrees and a few appetizer choices.“
“Bomb. Must go back. We got boba drinks and the five spice chicken with egg. Drinks were plentiful and delish. The chicken dish was superb. Meat was well marinated and tender. It was a hit with my picky kids. The biggest downfall to this place is parking. We went midday weekday and had to walk a block. Not bad, but I cant imagine ever coming during the weekend when there's even less parking spaces. Regardless, definitely coming back here to try more items on their menu.“
“I honestly love their Fresh fruit smoothie with tapioca boba. They have the best Crab Rangoon I have had to date.Their menu and place does need some work. I really want this place to do well. I have come here occasionally for over 10 years. I would love them to get to their next level for dining and cuisine.I think they could do well if they made more things from scratch that were signature dishes. Stay Fresh, that’s what keeps me coming back. Homemade tapioca boba taste the best.“
“Yum!! The food is authentic! Piping hot when they bring it to your table. It was very good. Sweet n sour chicken, chicken n broccoli, rice, it was all perfect. Very nice staff. Clean and inviting. My husband and I will be coming back again when we are in the area.“
“First I’d like to say.. The customer service is amazing, you can tell the food is made and packed with love. The flavor is 10/10 for the Kung pao chicken, however my only complaint was the texture of the chicken was a little tough. The hot and sour soup 8/10, needed a little more kick to it but still good and great ingredients. Cream cheese puff (crab Rangoon) flavor was there just wasn’t 100% freshly fried, 8.5/10. Overall rating 8/10. Will be back just based off flavor and customer service alone. The place for dine in is small and not appealing, when you walk in you can tell it’s more so take out based however overall cleanliness of the facility 9/10.“
“So I have to say the shrimp fried rice is the best I’ve had in the city since China taste closed . Order ahead because there’s alway a bit of a wait because everyone in the area and not cones here because the food is really good ! I don’t know where the bad reviews for taste are coming from I haven’t found a better shrimp fried rice anywhere and I travel a lot .“
“Cool little spot to try some Nepalese or Chinese. At first, I was confused because they show up as two different places. The Chinese and Nepalese restaurant are combined. When you sit down, the waitress brings two menus, which is interesting. I had some cauliflower curry from the Nepalese menu, and it was DELICIOUS! There was lots of ginger and heavy spices (which I appreciate). The rice was over cooked and the chai tea tasted like it was from an instant mix, but the curry was so good that it overrode those drawbacks in my rating.“
“I got a pineapple cake, a red bean cake, a red bean sesame ball, and half a duck. All of it was great! The filling in the cakes was plentiful and yummy and the sesame ball was just SLIGHTLY crunchy on the outside, just perfect. The duck had to be reheated in the oven but it was fantastic. There was half a duck head in the box, which didn't look too tasty so I did not attempt to eat it LOL.I rendered some of the skin with some onions and froze them. I'm thinking those onions will go inside of a baked good of some sort one day but we'll see.I'll be back!!!!“
“May have finally found the most authentic Thai in the Milwaukee area. Their menu is a bit limited (only 2 curries offered) but it seems that everything they offer is delicious. My go-to is tofu pad see ew and it was so flavorful and moist. My friend got the pork belly and I tried a bite, the dipping sauce is so dang good. The dessert was delicious as well. The portions are huge and it's reasonably priced. There were a good amount of people on a Friday night. Service was great. Would definitely come back!“
“1st visit. Just like other reviewers, it's pick only. You park, text the # on the sign with the name and phone # you used ordering.A super nice comes out to ask your name, then bring out your order, confirms your order and has one of the charging devices. Done in a sec. He was so grateful for the tip. Best service ever.I got crab Rangoon (delicious!], and tried the Walnut chicken with walnut sweet white sauce. I should have asked for the sauce on the side. It was so thick and way too sweet. Definitely will go back and get something more familiar next time.I recommend!“
“Top notch place. It's a take out place not a sit down restaurant. Every single time that I've gone there they've always been very friendly and gone above and beyond to listen and make sure that I have what I need. The food is great and the prices are in line. This is my go to spot for Chinese. It should be yours too.“
“We ordered a carry-out of Spring Rolls, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Chicken with Black Pepper Sauce, and Beef with Broccoli. The Spring Rolls were very tasty (we like them better than egg rolls) and each of the three dinners were delightful and flavorful. Yummy. The cook deserves a kiss. :)(I didn't know how to rate atmosphere because we had a carry out order -- so I gave a neutral 3 stars)“
“Very clean place. Any restaurant can be hit or miss. The food is much like other Chinese food establishments. What I like about this place...its very clean and organized. And, you get your money's worth. I think I spent around $50 or $60, but the bag I walked out with must have been 10lbs. I was very happy. ?“
“Finally have a "go to" Chinese restaurant in town after trying for years to replace our old favorite (owners retired). Good meals, good service and decent prices. Also have a good buffet option if you are interested. Have been numerous times now and have yet to have a bad experience!“
“This is VERY good, fresh tasting takeout food. It scratches our Chinese-take-out cravings every time! Hot and sour soup is so good - craved when I had a cold; it’s curing! And they don’t skimp on veggies in the veggie fried rice, either. To be clear, I’m not commenting on authenticity, but it’s just as good (if not better) than the Chinese take out we ordered while living in NYC. Also, I wonder if people know how much their 2 or 3 star reviews that are out of context or unrealistic expectation-wise hurt small local businesses? Let’s stay positive, folks. Support your local spots!“
“This is a gem of find. Food is delicious and service is impressive. It was the trifecta of Bao buns, dumplings, and sushi. The bbq Bao buns were delicious and moist. The steam and pan fried dumplings had a fresh and flavorful filling. The sushi was also on point. This is the 1st time I've experience such great quality in all those dishes in one place. I'm already planning my next visit.“
“If you're looking for a new Asian restaurant to try out, this is it! This is one of the only Asian restaurants I go to because it is GOOD. The staff is polite. I have recommended this place to my family, friends, and workplace. Try it out!“
“Their chicken n broccoli was sooo delicious. I also ordered egg foo yung, it was ok, think I'll order it without gravy next time. Prices very reasonable. Very nice portions. I'm definitely going back. Today was my first time ordering from them.“
“I’ve been going here for years, but after Covid things have changed a little (no Buffett), but the food is still delicious. Had lunch special— chicken and pork fried rice (forgot name of chicken). Fried rice could’ve used more pork and veggies. The Chicken was flavorful and the sauce was tasty. Made it back to work and it was still hot. Meal came with a small egg roll-egg roll was more wrap than filling.“
“Our take-out order for 5 people, all having appetizers and an entrée was perfect, a rare thing these days. The egg rolls were huge and homemade at the restaurant and the best that I've had, bar none! Everyone in our party absolutely loved their food. Large portions and delicious food, also a rare find these days. If you're looking for awesome Chinese food, look no further, Emperor's Kitchen checks all the boxes!“
“My sister and I got take-out here on Saturday night. We shared crab rangoons, sesame chicken, vegetable lo mein, and vegetable Mei Fun! Everything was very good! We were at work, so our go-to Chinese food spot was too far away, so we decided to try this restaurant for the first time. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!“
“Very good and fresh food. I’ve tried a lot of Chinese takeout and this was very tasty. Lots of huge shrimp in the shrimp fried rice! The portions are huge, the seasoning was just right and they were friendly. I wish they did delivery or DoorDash. My only con of i had to have one is that they don’t have bamboo shoots in their fried rice. My new go to for Chinese“
“I moved to the Southside area from Brown Deer back in late 2017. While living in Brown Deer my favorite Chinese restaurant was in Menomonee Falls which wasn't that far. Unfortunately since moving to the Southside I couldn't find a Chinese food restaurant at least for me that was up to par. Believe me when I say I tried many Chinese restaurants, its an understatement. I realize everyone has different taste and mine was just not being fulfilled. I actually stumbled across this restaurant on my way to an appointment. I decided I'd give it try. I thought to be safe I'd keep it simple ( beef fried rice, shrimp egg foo young, crab rangoon and an egg roll) this was around lunchtime and was also takeout. The service was quick and very friendly. I couldn't wait to get home because it smelled so good but even with that I was still thinking this may be another disappointment. I'm beyond thrilled to say that everything exceeded my expectations. Everything was delicious. I finally found a Chinese food restaurant that did not disappoint. I no longer have to travel to Menomonee Falls for great Chinese food. This restaurant is just as good and honestly maybe a smidge better. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. I definitely recommend it. Great Food“
“I ordered the wrong thing. I guess. I ordered the kung pao chicken and reg lo mein. The kung pao was battered, a lot. Like general tso, which is not my kind. The lo mein was so climbed together you could barely pull it apart. Didn’t really taste like much. I’d go back to try something else. I may like the garlic chicken.“
“Egg rolls!!! The reviews are correct! I got 6 egg rolls from here to bring to a dinner, and they were PERFECT! I called, and they were bagged up as I walked in the door. Friendly greetings from the owners, delicious fresh sweet & sour sauce, and everything was still hot and ready to eat when I got to the house ??? Can't wait to try more things!Parking: Plenty of parking. Don't worry about that“
“Quick, delicious, plentiful Chinese food. You get two entrees and a rice or noodle side for $8.95. The styrofoam container is packed! I usually make two meals out of one order. Currently there is only take out. We’ve gone early, mid day and in the evening. It’s always hot and tasty. Not dried out. It’s become our favorite place for reliable Chinese takeout.“
“Best Chinese food ever! I love this place always will. Homemade egg rolls, sweet and sour sauce. Nothing like these other commercialized restaurants in the area. My mom has been coming here since the 70’s and Jim knows us by name when we visit.“
“I ordered imperial eggrolls upon entering the facility. There was a very dense appearance and smell of old refrigeration. The hostess was very nice. The price was very good two dollars per egg roll and the eggrolls were basic. I go there again only if it was only option close to my home and I don’t feel like driving, I believe everyone agrees they need to clean up that place clear that smell and turn on some lights because lots of places turn off lights to hide infestation of mice and roaches, and we can only imagine what the kitchen looks likeMaybe that’s why the prices are so cheap but there’s hope simply shut it down, clean it up, clean the windows and doors when you first come in and people may start to come back because it is a very ideal location in terms of option for Chinese food culturally cooked versus Hong Kong express located nearby on the northwest side near 76 in good Hope in Mill RoadParking: Parking is in a dark area in front of the building densely lit and a person currently commit a crime to a customer there“
“I just moved to this area from Dekalb, Illinois. I am so happy I landed next to this place. I am so delightfully surprised how fabulous & fresh the food is! I knew all would be well when the friendly yet professional young lady took my order via phone. Delivery guy was quick & pleasant demeanor!! This was the perfect welcome to my new home that I needed!! Delicious reasonably priced food with great customer service!!“
“This is a great place to dine on Brady Street. Fairly spacious restaurant in oriental decor. Waitress was on her A game. Fast, courteous and proficient. Knew the menu. Food was great. Had Gen Tso chicken. Chicken melted in my mouth. And just spicy enough without having to choose mild or hot. Could not eat all of the generous portion provided but definitely looking forward to lunch tomorrow. Excellent meal. Go there. Great Chinese food.“
“Was in the mood for Thai/Lao food so decided on Bamboo. Ordered online for takeout. Placed orders for Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, chicken wings, Lao Sausage, papaya salad Lao style and an order of sticky rice.Food was hot when I took it back to the hotel. My gf and I shared this abundance of food. The Pad Kee Mao was wetter than I’m used to. Lacked a bit of flavor. The Pad Thai was decent but could be better. The Lao sausage was ok but a bit over cooked and dry. The sticky rice was a bit dry. The chicken wings were good but a bit dry. Papaya Salad lacked a bit of the umami flavor. The food overall was pretty decent but I’ve had better. I think food is more Laotian style than Thai especially the pad Thai and pad Kee Mao. I rather stick to my other spot for Thai noodle dishes down the road.“
“Recently moved to Franklin from Oak Creek and needed to find a new place for Chinese. Very happy to have tried King's Wok! Ordering online was super quick and easy and they are quick with their take-out orders. The food was delicious! Looking forward to ordering more from them.“
“I always order from them and love their food. I always get their shrimp fried rice. The only place that puts big shrimp in their fried rice. Their fried chickens r amazing. Perfect coating and fried. Love how they take good care of packing up my order. They are always sweet and nice to me every time I pick up my order. Thank you for such good service and food.“
“I have been coming to China hut since I was a child and it seems they're recipes just keep getting better. They are one of the most under-rated places in Milwaukee. Highly recommend ?Vegetarian options: As a non vegetarian I find these dishes to be excellent.“
“Food fast food Chinese, this place is delicious! Crab Rangoon and chicken fried rice were very yummy! Compared to my go to Yayas, they beat them from what I’ve had so far! My dude doesn’t even like egg rolls but he tried a bite of mine and ended up finishing it! We got the orange chicken and general tso chicken. The general tso was too hot for my partner so we traded. It was pretty spicy but good! Kids had the Chinese fried chicken and mannn the pieces were huge! I usually get pictures of my food but this was so good I dug into my food and forgot! My dude is from the east coast and this food reminded him of the Chinese there. So this is now our new spot?“
“Great overall experience. Food was delicious, attentive service, and a great variety of dishes on the menu. I ordered a Nepali dish while my folks, niece and nephew ordered from the Chinese food menu. Everyone was satisfied and there was plenty of food for everyone. Highly recommend!“
“The depth of flavor is crazy!!! The three course duck dinner is to die for, seriously get it! The general tsao’s chicken is by far the best I’ve ever had…. Incredible. Egg rolls are crazy complex and delicious. The wait staff was outstanding. The food comes out hot when it’s prepared. Highly highly highly recommend that you try it. I’ve traveled extensively through out and lived in Asia, and even though this is Americanized, truly the quality and depth of flavor I remember.“
“I went in for lunch I decided to takeout and not dine in. The buffet was clean the meats and veggies were fresh. You have a wide variety to choose from with many sauces. After I gathered my ingredients I took it to the chef to be cooked in front of me. My stir fry was delicious.“
“The food is always excellent. We probably order takeout from here at least once a month and always use the order ahead feature. Food is usually ready or in the process of being wrapped up by the time I arrive. Everyone is always very nice. Highly recommend.“
“I've ordered the 20 wings deal from Ya Ya China multiple times through GrubHub and I have to say I am impressed. The wings are perfectly done, and whoever packs the to-go orders definitely knows what they're doing. Something as seemingly small as placing a spare piece of cardboard between the containers of wings to keep them from collapsing does more than one might think. I already order from here more often than anywhere else, and I will continue to do so.“
“The only bad thing I can say is that the last time I ordered beef and broccoli the bamboo shoots tasted very offensive, not good.Everything else though from the food to the staff is fantastic.Deluxe lo mein + steamed dumplings are my favorite.“
“I love the food it's always fresh and hot and delicious I just would like more sweet and sour sauce but I guess you have to pay for more sauce I never been inside of the restaurant I always get it delivered they are always on time with your “
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at China Gourmet, and I must say it was an exquisite experience that exceeded the expectations for a family dinner spot this holiday evening. The menu offered a plethora of options to accommodate anyone's taste from vegetarian, beef, chicken, duck, seafood, and beyond. The staff was wonderful and being served by the owner was a treat in and of itself. He was courteous and helped me find the perfect dish --- which I will note was the best dish I've had at any asian cuisine restaurant.I ordered something extremely simple, chicken and broccoli. What made this dish stand out is that I asked for it very spicy and my request was met with no hesitation. The flavors were immaculate and the extra spiciness didn't take away from the dish (as it often does when a chef doesn't know what they're doing).A perfectly executed dining experience that rounded out our day trip in Milwaukee. Highly recommended.Edit: Our family while engrossed in conversation forgot our leftovers. In perfect timing, the aforementioned owner ran across the street to meet us at the elevators to the parking garage to bring this to our attention. We are so grateful because we had already been talking about the exciting lunch we would be having tomorrow with the excess food the large portions left us with.Another perfect example of the outstanding service of this restaurant.“
“Bartender cleaned up snow on sidewalk for my wife in a wheelchair..Keri was our server and did a great job with a smile ..Good eating experience..Vegetarian options: Good options..Wheelchair accessibility: Good access after snow was removed.“
“Go check them out! A1 exceptional food PERIOD! This place stay super busy tho so call ur order in and pick up ..the food is so so guud! I like ❤️ this place .. only place I go to buy Chinese food for 12 plus years...make sure u call orders in ..crowd!“
“Chinese Pagoda has good food. Food is always fresh and tasty. I even love their fried fish that they have. Good customer service! Always friendly and nice.Parking: This is a residential neighborhood, but their is parking across the street that is free but has a limit.“
