“It has been very difficult to find good Chinese food since the pandemic. The quality at all my favorites spots have really talen a nose dive. So when by chance I got some left over Tso Chicken from here from the kids, I honestly was not expecting much. Chinese food rarely heats up decent but this was actually good even reheated. So I had to go try it fresh. And yeah WOW it was fresh and yummy. Wife and I were taken back. We had the chicken with mushrooms, Amazing, the Tso Chicken and the sesame chicken which were equally as good. The one that got all the kids talking was the Crab rangoon. Fresh and filled to perfection! The portions were good and plentiful. Highly recommend! I can't believe I dismissed this place for years just based on the silly name. Learned my lesson.“

“i’ve been coming to china house since i was 12 years old and my mom would give me $3 and i would ride my bike there and be able to get a small fried rice and i was obsessed! the front staff has remained the same in all that time! it was just my 35th birthday so since 2003!! which i am pretty sure was around the time they opened… since then i’ve tried chinese food all over including san francisco’s chinatown, which was amazing, but china house stands above all! they have the best chinese food in the whole of milwaukee county and i am so eternally grateful that i live 5 minutes from my childhood home therefore, only 6 mins away from china house and i can get it whenever i want like today as my birthday treat!! i got large everything beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, egg fried rice, and side of gravy - i am about to tear this up and it’s about to be AMAZING!!!!! everybody support this local business! it is a treasure we are so lucky to have ⭐️❤️🙏🏼“

“Order the lunch time sesame chicken while in the area. Turned out to be a great choice. The food was fresh, hot and neatly packed in a To go bag. It was even nicely plated in tje to go bowl. The chicken was cooked perfect and the perfect bite sizes not the honkers you often find at buffets. The fried rice was actually the best take out ive had in a long time. Had that wok sear taste and the rice was perfect al dente and seasoned well. I ordered take out and the space looked quant and plenty of parking as it is in a strip mall that might have some shopping you can do to walk off the meal.

“I usually order the Crab Rangoon & the Large Shrimp Fried Rice. Both are an excellent amount for the price & almost always cooked to perfection. Not all restaurants do Rangoon right. I have to say, they have some of the best. It isn’t overly crispy & filled with a good amount of filling. I’ve never received a dish that wasn’t delicious....
Update: I haven't been there for a good minute. The last two times the chicken was so hard and brittle. I don't know if they were trying to cut costs but it shows. It might be better now but I haven't been willing to try..“

“We have been getting kings wok regularly for over a year, and the food is always a hit. Their Wonton soup is the best we’ve had in the area! The chow mei fun is a household favorite too. The prices are great, the service is good, the portions are sharing size!“

“I have ordered from No. 1 Chinese Restaurant several times. Years ago, I thought their quality was so-so. Lately, they've been excellent. I like my Chinese takeout to be fresh, not-gloppy, with crisp vegetables and flavorful, but not too salty. I don't think they use MSG. More recently, I have ordered from their food through Grub Hub. Unfortunately, the last time Grub Hub screwed up and brought me the wrong order. It wasn't No 1's fault. I called No 1. and they sent the correct order, at their own expense. I felt bad that I wasn't prepared to give the driver a tip. Please support this local restaurant!!!“

The most important thing about any restaurant - the quality of the food.... Excellent. We ordered 3 different types of dumplings as well as salad, edamame, and fried rice noodles. Two adults and two children under 4... We literally ate every bite. We are small people. We rarely clean our plates this way at a restaurant. It is so good!!!

The person working here suggested that the pork and beef dumplings are their best ones and that the noodle dishes are great, so we ordered those items.

There was only one person for seating, taking orders, and cooking as best I could tell. Considering there were 3 other tables as well as carryout orders the food came pretty fast.

We got the spring rolls and crab Rangoon (generous filling) sesame chicken and chicken with garlic sauce (6 or so different veggies included). Traditional flavors and generous portions.
