I stopped by the weekend before Lunar New Year and the place was packed with individuals waiting to pick up their orders. Unfortunately, everything was rather picked over but what was left looked good. The mooncake was delicious and has me wanting to try additional things. I'm hoping to make it back not on a holiday weekend so I can get a more typical experience! It's in a strip mall so parking is easy and free.
I got a pineapple cake, a red bean cake, a red bean sesame ball, and half a duck. All of it was great! The filling in the cakes was plentiful and yummy and the sesame ball was just SLIGHTLY crunchy on the outside, just perfect. The duck had to be reheated in the oven but it was fantastic. There was half a duck head in the box, which didn't look too tasty so I did not attempt to eat it LOL.I rendered some of the skin with some onions and froze them. Went in on a whim, and am glad I did. Got the pork ball and red bean ball. Price was excellent and the taste is out of this world. Wish I had gotten there earlier, as they sold out of a lot of bakery. Can't wait to go again!
