“Doc's is the best smoked meat in Milwaukee. The portions are satisfying. They have 4+types of sauces. The fries are seasoned just right!! I had a hiccup on a take out order and I called to let them know. The manager was courteous respectful and made it right on another visit. I love the fried pickles. Good food and integrity is a delicious combo. Thanks Doc 😉“

This is a really cool place where they are acrually teaching various aspects of running a restaurant i believe specifically to minorities.Food was great- jerk eggrolls, catfish, and my wife had a pulled pork bowl. “Alright people - I found another local gem. Fire Side BBQ (7706 W Burleigh) is the bbq restaurant I have been looking for coming from Tennessee. Before anyone comments on that sauce, I ask for extra anytime I hear the restaurant makes their own sauce because I want the full experience of the cook I’m dealing with. The sauce was AMAZING.. but.. THIS. BRISKET. WAS. FIRE! Brisket is the ultimate test to see if you’re dealing with a good BBQ place, and this is the best brisket I have had from a restaurant in Wisconsin. I have also heard their fish fry is outstanding, and to top it off, they have live DJs on Friday nights!! This is such a cool spot and I cannot wait to come back!“
