I wish I would’ve took a pic of my food but I scarfed it down? we ordered half chicken , baby back ribs , burnt ends , brisket , Mac , & corn bread. Their Texas bbq is the best!!! My family favorite was the burnt ends. I on the other hand enjoyed the ribs and brisket it was very juicyyyy. The young gentleman in the front who took my order was so kind & helped me pick out what to get . I love that he was very knowledgeable behind the meats like as far as what was more tender what was his favorites. It helped me pick out my order. I spent about $80+ and I didn’t regret it. Worth the money for sure. Atmosphere is always beautiful here snd service was a 10/10“
“This was my first time here, the young ladies greeted me with a pleasant smile. Since this was my first time here they were super helpful and patient with me about ordering even was willing to let me sample some of the food. I was always asked if everything was ok by staff. “We'd never been before so we got the King Kamehameha platter. Loved the Kalbi Ribs, Kalua Pig, Char Shu Chicken, and Portuguese Sausage. The pot stickers with the Chinese mustard sauce were also good. Garlic shrimp and Poke Tuna were alright. And the deserts were ok. The POG was also great. The staff were phenomenal. If we are in the area in the future, definitely will return.“
“Took myself out to breakfast for my birthday and I had to check out the all vegan cafe! I have been vegan for 7 years now and I have never found anything like this! I had a veggie scrambler and mango tango fusion smoothie and both items were so good! And then they brought me a slice of vegan chocolate cake for my birthday dessert. “The name Pizza N Curry is a great establishment despite its confusing name. From the street view it looks like it might be a fusion, half Italian, half Indian takeout spot. But this is actually a proper Indian restaurant as thankfully I did not see any Italian pizzas on their menu. But they do have tandoori and Chicken Tikka pizzas that we almost ordered.This brings me to the food. It is simply 5-7x better than Cafe India, top to bottom. I immediately knew the food was going to be great when it was delivered in copper bowls with julienned ginger floating on the top.The mutton karahi and chicken achari is basically south asian soul food and will hopefully power us through the rest of this snowy month. Even my 8 year old's chicken strips were of high quality as you could tell it was strips of dark meat breaded in house and excellenly seasoned. Shorewood you are very lucky that these guys care.Also, a heads up. You will pay for this quality.“

“Coming from the south, I have been looking for great bbq for almost a year now. This is definitely the best I have found in the Milwaukee area! Their pulled pork, burnt ends, and even their shrimp and grits were to die for. ALL of their sauces were amazing as well! However, the brisket was well over cooked and not much flavor at all. No bark, no juice, and was like eating a tender piece of jerky. BBQ is not a Midwest thing I have come to find out, but other than the brisket this is the closest you are going to get around here! All the servers were great, and made excellent drink recommendations. The inside of the restaurant has a very "Nashville" feel, too. We will be back!“
“Maxie’s is one of our favorite happy hour or dinner spots. Drinks are top notch, oysters are as fresh as can be, food is authentic and homemade. I have yet to experience a host, bartender, or server who. Was not 100% friendly, happy, helpful, and fun! I cannot recommend this place enough! In fact, we usually take some extra gumbo to-go after dinner to enjoy for lunch the next day!“
“Stopped by for a late lunch. Tables were clean and we ordered quickly. Two meat meal with brisket and pork was fantastic. Tried both sauces delicious. Fries were hot crispy and beautifully seasoned. Beans were especially great. Staff was welcoming. Definitely worth a stop! Keep up the good work!“
“I got a pineapple cake, a red bean cake, a red bean sesame ball, and half a duck. All of it was great! The filling in the cakes was plentiful and yummy and the sesame ball was just SLIGHTLY crunchy on the outside, just perfect. The duck had to be reheated in the oven but it was fantastic. There was half a duck head in the box, which didn't look too tasty so I did not attempt to eat it LOL.I rendered some of the skin with some onions and froze them. I'm thinking those onions will go inside of a baked good of some sort one day but we'll see.I'll be back!!!!“
“I purchased a Muskego Warriors Football discount card last Fall and Pop’s Pub is one of the restaurants listed so we thought we’d stop in and give them a try for lunch.Best decision ever!!! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!!We were unaware that they do smoked meats- but as soon as you park your vehicle you can smell it- wonderful discovery!Don’t let the slightly run down front exterior detour you!! Inside is friendly and inviting and the staff is super welcoming. Out back is an entire outside area that we can’t wait to utilize in Spring ASAP.We got the 3:3 smoked meats. Brisket, pulled pork, bourbon chicken, baked beans, Mac and cheese, potato’s. All absolutely delicious!! Smoke was just right and the Texas BBQ sauce which is slightly sweet and the KC sauce which has a very slight kick were both super fantastic! Pickles were sweet dill an excellent complement to the smoked meats. Cannot wait to return!!!If you haven’t been- go now!!!“
“The ribeye I had wasn't very good. It was stringy & quite fatty. I also don't understand it being topped with onion rings with a side of au jus.The staff was awesome! “I have lived near this place my whole life and heard great things about the food. I am an avid bbq person, kinda particular on where I get it from because it is hard to find a good bbq spot here in the city.I can say that I was pleasantly surprised that the bbq tasted alright. Very smoky, which can be overwhelming to some. I like to taste the grilled flavor and the natural smokiness in my bbq meats and I got that flavor in the ribs. I ordered the ribs combo w/beans and potato salad, but they didn't have any salad so I had to get the slaw. I didn't so much enjoy the beans though. Everything else was fine. I would like to try something different from the menu, so I will return to do that. I waited about 30 mins to get my food, which is a long time, but it was around 9pm when I placed my order and only 1 person preparing the food, so I understand. Just had a taste for bbq and wanted to try Conways out!Overall nice spot, just come early and be prepared for the smokiness!“
