“Today I had another great lunch & a conversation with the manger who happened to be an Air Force Veteran. After the playing of the National Anthem he recognized myself as a Viet Nam Veteran who entered Viet Nam 2 weeks before TET in Jan. 68. I shared my experience with him & another Army Veteran explaining about VetsRoll.org Veterans Honor Trip to Washington DC. Any Veteran who has served in the military is eligible to sign up for. “If you like delicious food, variety and spicy options then this is for you. You select either bbq or hotpot or both. Then pick meats/veg/noodles and cook them up in front of you. The spicy hotpot was amazing. I tried a lil of everything and it was amazing. I will be going back very soon.“

“The pork chop was excellent! I liked that it was served with Gnocchi and not rice or a normally cooked potato. I sampled a bourbon drink and it was so good. Too much sugar if you have diabetes like my partner. Haha“

“Excellent, excellent, excellent. 10/10 for everything except the owners. They are 12/10! Great food, absolutely welcoming and charming. Don’t be lolo like me and wait too long—head to Ono Kine Grindz wiki wiki! It was our Valentine’s Day date-I had the chicken/pork combo plate with carrot pineapple slaw and macaroni salad, my husband has the Hawaiian breakfast. Excellent all around—the POG juice leveled it up even more. I love this place, and I am gladly adding it to my favorites/must haves when we get visitors.“

“I've had their brisket mac bowl and chicken sandwich, both were delicious. The brisket was smoked just right and melted in your mouth. Added some hickory smoked BBQ sauce and that put it over the top. Their chicken sandwich was just as delicious. The seasoning and taste was phenomenal and their house sauce has a nice blend of smokey and sweet with a slight bite at the end. It accentuated the chicken very well. And their portions are definitely worth the price. I will be going back multiple times that's for sure.“

This is a family business that has been in this exact spot for generations. You have to try the BBQ.. I love the Philly cheese.

“I was driving by and saw this place, figured what the heck. Plenty of parking in the rear. I sat at the bar and the tender was very friendly. But the place was empty, so I was thinking this isn't going to go well. I ordered the brisket and was shocked when they brought this big plate of it. I was even more shocked when it fell apart when I hit with my fork. Then I tasted it and went to heaven. Juicy, tender and a flavorful black pepper rub. Amazingly well done. I'll be back!“

“Doc's is the best smoked meat in Milwaukee. The portions are satisfying. They have 4+types of sauces. The fries are seasoned just right!! I had a hiccup on a take out order and I called to let them know. The manager was courteous respectful and made it right on another visit. I love the fried pickles. Good food and integrity is a delicious combo. Thanks Doc 😉“

“Yvonne was our server, and the hostess and she was hustling. This is a really cool place where they are acrually teaching various aspects of running a restaurant i believe specifically to minorities.Food was great- jerk eggrolls, catfish, and my wife had a pulled pork bowl. Food was great, the whole experience was enjoyable!“

“This restaurant is fantastic! What an experience!!! All of the workers were pleasant and helpful. Our waitress, Lucy, was AMAZING! She explained how the process works; what the broths taste like and how to cook our meat and veggies. We all got the hot pots and Korean BBQ. Next time I would just get the hot pot tho’. However, the meat was good and the veggies were fresh. The broths were amazing. On top of the Korean bbq and hot pot, we also had the buffet that includes different sauces, egg rolls, seaweed salad, Asian cucumbers, chicken wings, octopus, clams, fries, crawfish and much more. I typically don’t do buffets, but I made an exception. The buffet area was really clean. Our entire experience was wonderful!“

“Alright people - I found another local gem. Fire Side BBQ (7706 W Burleigh) is the bbq restaurant I have been looking for coming from Tennessee. Before anyone comments on that sauce, I ask for extra anytime I hear the restaurant makes their own sauce because I want the full experience of the cook I’m dealing with. The sauce was AMAZING.. but.. THIS. BRISKET. WAS. FIRE! Brisket is the ultimate test to see if you’re dealing with a good BBQ place, and this is the best brisket I have had from a restaurant in Wisconsin. I have also heard their fish fry is outstanding, and to top it off, they have live DJs on Friday nights!! This is such a cool spot and I cannot wait to come back!“

“I had my 40th birthday party at Pop's and it was an incredible time! The drool-worthy food, the fun atmosphere, tiki bar, this place has it all and was the absolute perfect spot for both our small kiddos and our big adult kiddos. The staff was above and beyond and just crushed it on all levels!“
