Since this was my first time here they were super helpful and patient with me about ordering even was willing to let me sample some of the food. I was always asked if everything was ok by staff. “Judy was great to work with. The staff was great, very nice and attentive. The food was incredible and our wedding guests loved it and said it was the best wedding food they've ever had (I agree!). My only complaint is regarding the leftovers. We were not informed that we had to arrange ahead of time to keep leftover food. The food was taken away without anyone asking if we wanted to keep it (we didn't notice it being taken away as my bride and I were very busy)..I was extremely disappointed because I know we had enough leftovers to enjoy for the week since a number of people didn't show up. I'll just have to stop into the restaurant to get my fix! I would give 4/5 stars. thanks for providing great food and amazing staff!“
“This place blew my mind. Its hard to even tell it's a restaurant when you first walk in. The food was incredible. The staff was very nice and friendly. The owner was a blast to meet. I gave him a high five for the amazing food. When I walked in I was overtaken by a wonderful smell of pork so I was on a mission to track that down and I did. Definitely recommend. This place was super small and seating was very limited. It's literally like 2 dining room tables outside of a kitchen window. Fantastic atmosphere. We shared a table with some people that came in after us. We had to park about a block away but it was totally worth the shot walk.“
“Took myself out to breakfast for my birthday and I had to check out the all vegan cafe! I have been vegan for 7 years now and I have never found anything like this! I had a veggie scrambler and mango tango fusion smoothie and both items were so good! And then they brought me a slice of vegan chocolate cake for my birthday dessert. “I was trying to think of a reason to give this place less than 5 stars on anything and I couldn't think of a single one. Food was absolutely amazing, every part of the meal including the fries. Service was great, everyone was working hard back in the open kitchen. Amosphere was awesome, I'm Canadian but I really enjoyed the national anthem at mid-day I think it's very true to the roots of what I believe this place wants to represent. Hard to believe it was a chain when they told me, I'll definitely be looking to hit another one next time I'm state side.“
“Came for happy hour (4-6) for dollar oysters, dollar off drinks and fried green tomatoes. We had oysters, shrimp, fried tomatoes, the crab and corn chowder, gumbo, and the pulled pork sandwich. I might still be in a food coma. everything was exceptional. our bartender Sam was great! He helped me design two martinis I loved. definitely will be back!! i'd recommend coming as close to 4 as possible as it does fill up quickly!!“
“The name Pizza N Curry is a great establishment despite its confusing name. From the street view it looks like it might be a fusion, half Italian, half Indian takeout spot. But this is actually a proper Indian restaurant as thankfully I did not see any Italian pizzas on their menu. But they do have tandoori and Chicken Tikka pizzas that we almost ordered.This brings me to the food. It is simply 5-7x better than Cafe India, top to bottom. I immediately knew the food was going to be great when it was delivered in copper bowls with julienned ginger floating on the top.The mutton karahi and chicken achari is basically south asian soul food and will hopefully power us through the rest of this snowy month. Even my 8 year old's chicken strips were of high quality as you could tell it was strips of dark meat breaded in house and excellenly seasoned. Shorewood you are very lucky that these guys care.Also, a heads up. You will pay for this quality.“
“The 4 patty build-yer-own Angus burger with American cheese slices in the middle of each patty was unbelievably amazing. “Where do I even begin?!? My partner and I made the drive from Madison first thing in the morning on a Saturday - he didn't know where we were going, but I had called ahead the day before to place an order. We arrived right when Lucky Bakery & BBQ opened, and there were others waiting outside and in the lobby (a great sign!). My partner was thrilled that the surprise was Chinese BBQ, and we picked up the order of roast ruck and pork with crispy skin. While we were there, we chose some bakery items as well (an egg tart and a red bean cake). Then, we started to drive home, snagging a piece of pork to nibble on the drive back to Madison. HOLY COW. I pulled the car over SO FAST - this pork deserves all of your attention! You cannot do it justice while driving, you need to sit and savor it! We literally bought a drink at a Panera so we could sit outside and eat this pork. I will dream about this pork every night until we can make another trip to West Allis. My life as been changed by this pork. The duck and the bakery items were also flawlessly outstanding, but I truly cannot get over the pork. We ate the entire pound of it that Saturday, and will be telling everyone we meet!“
“I purchased a Muskego Warriors Football discount card last Fall and Pop’s Pub is one of the restaurants listed so we thought we’d stop in and give them a try for lunch.Best decision ever!!! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!!We were unaware that they do smoked meats- but as soon as you park your vehicle you can smell it- wonderful discovery!Don’t let the slightly run down front exterior detour you!! Inside is friendly and inviting and the staff is super welcoming. Out back is an entire outside area that we can’t wait to utilize in Spring ASAP.We got the 3:3 smoked meats. Brisket, pulled pork, bourbon chicken, baked beans, Mac and cheese, potato’s. All absolutely delicious!! Smoke was just right and the Texas BBQ sauce which is slightly sweet and the KC sauce which has a very slight kick were both super fantastic! Pickles were sweet dill an excellent complement to the smoked meats. Cannot wait to return!!!If you haven’t been- go now!!!“
“The ribeye I had wasn't very good. It was stringy & quite fatty. I also don't understand it being topped with onion rings with a side of au jus.The staff was awesome! “OH MY GOODNESS! I've been meaning to try Wilma's forever, but their truck isn't always nearby. Finally tried them last week when they were parked at Hoyt Park. What a freaking pleasant surprise! We tried the pulled jerk chicken, the brisket and rib tips. The tips were huge and meaty, the brisket lean and tender and the chicken was a revelation! Chicken can tend to become dry, but not at Wilma's! All the meats were smokey, in a perfect way. The greens they serve as a side are fantastic too. I believe the other fabulous BBQ truck, POP'S, has some competition now. Never thought it possible. What a shame that both have such short seasons. I will find that Wilma's BBQ truck real soon, before they take their cold weather break! PLEASE, find a way to check them out!“
“I like this little place! We stopped in prior to a show at The Rave. It was surprisingly good! I got the smoked brisket and it was SO good! I really wasn't expecting such great BBQ from a little place in Milwaukee, but that was a truly pleasant surprise! My husband got the meatloaf and it was good too. Enjoyed the cheese curds and the onion rings as well. Next time we are in the area, good chance we stop in to this little place. Bartender was really friendly, crackin' jokes and having a good time behind the bar.“

This place is plenty big so that was not an issue. Our waitress was super friendly. The menu is pretty typical for a place that caters to motorcycle fans - lots of barbecue and burgers. I ordered their special Guinness wings which were very good but very pricey (actually everything on the menu seemed pricey but that is apparently the case at many restaurants these days). My dad got the beef brisket sandwich which he like a lot. It was so big he took half home for dinner! Overall a good place with lunch near downtown that is easy to get to with lots of free parking. A good option even if not visiting the very good museum.“

We had reservations for 4:00, but it didn't start getting busy until 5:00/5:30.I ordered the steak kebab, because I thought the portion would be smaller than the cuts of meat that were $20+ more. Well, I still ended up with a lot leftovers. Portions are generous, and everything tasted great. The coleslaw that comes with the meal was really good; finely chopped and creamy.Our server was kind and attentive.Total bill for 3 with full entrees and 2 drinks each was $315. They do automatically add a 18% gratuity onto the check, but do a good job of making sure you know it.Everything was great! We'll be back.“

Cooked in a cast iron skillet. Rice caramelized on bottom. Fantastic flavors with the right amount of heat.Vegetarian options: Selected the Bibimbap with tofu. It comes with an egg on top so I requested without that. Listed as vegan option so was a little surprised when ordering with tofu that they didn’t ask if I wanted with egg or not. Veg and vegan items labeled. GF listed clearly too. Tofu was fried. Prefer tofu not fried but it was a yummy and fun change of pace.“

I wish I would’ve took a pic of my food but I scarfed it down? we ordered half chicken , baby back ribs , burnt ends , brisket , Mac , & corn bread. Their Texas bbq is the best!!! My family favorite was the burnt ends. I on the other hand enjoyed the ribs and brisket it was very juicyyyy. The young gentleman in the front who took my order was so kind & helped me pick out what to get . I love that he was very knowledgeable behind the meats like as far as what was more tender what was his favorites. It helped me pick out my order. I spent about $80+ and I didn’t regret it. Worth the money for sure. Atmosphere is always beautiful here snd service was a 10/10“
