“The food is authentic Mexican, delicious and reasonably priced. The dining room is small, nicely decorated and clean. I had a Mexican style pastor taco with pineapple and a pork tamale with red sauce. My companion had enchiladas w/ green sauce, rice and beans. Complimentary chips and salsa are brought to your table. You order and pay at a counter, and bottled and canned beverages are available to purchase in a frig there. If you're eating on site your food is delivered to the adjacent dining room when it's ready (along with 2 squeeze bottles of red and green sauce). It appears that the majority of their business is take out. They don't have a liquor license so sadly we couldn't have cervezas with our lunch but that won't keep us away. We'll definitely be back ~ thank you!“

“picked up a shrimp po boy and fries here tonight ($13 with a soda?!) and I'm upset I waited so long to go. guy working there was really nice, food was ready sooner than he originally said and he brought it out to my car so I didn't have to wait longer. got home and not only did it look great it tasted great too. only complaint is the speaker at the window had a little feedback lol but everything else was just what I needed. will def be back

“If you’re reading this, make the reservation. Easily a 10/10 meal. We started with the burrata, their specialty. It was, in a word, divine. The bread was perfectly toasted. The salad underneath the burrata changes seasonally, and the apricot, honey, and truffle oil elevated it beyond expectation. I could have had another order of this for my entrée and been set. My chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Unpretentious but perfectly executed. The potatoes and broccolini came to life with the lemon caper sauce. My husband had the mac n’ cheese with short rib. The creamy mac and tender meat don’t compete in flavor — they’re in a loving, happy marriage. This is what restaurant BBQ mac should be. I’m not usually a crème brûlée person, or at least, I thought I wasn’t. I let my husband pick the dessert, and it did not disappoint. Perfectly creamy and flavorful. This is the experience you want when you decide you’re ordering a dessert. The service was top-notch. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were all delightful. Heirloom MKE delivered one of my favorite dinners to date.“

“The truck was at the Wisconsin Avenue night market. I got Italian Beef, Buffalo Chicken sandwich and fried okra for the family. Everything was great. Will be looking for the truck again to try the slaw dogs and chicken sliders“

“I actually visit the Azteca Taco Truck 5 to 6x's a week in the warm months. Now that it's very cold, 1-2x's a week. I always get the same items. 3 chicken burritos FULLY loaded the way I like them. The quality of the food is superior to any other Taco Truck around. The portions is what I LOVE.... HUGE! And of course ALL of the guys know my order and I'm greeted with respect, a conversation and a SMILE! After my husband passed away, I don't cook at home anymore for just myself.
So THANK YOU AZTECA for being Soooooo DELICIOUS!

“There’s not many places that I will give a five star rating off of the first try, but I was thoroughly impressed with this place. Randomly stumbled across Dooby Dogs after working up an appetite after a late night gym session. I got here about 30 minutes before they closed I honestly was a little worried to take the chance. But nevertheless, the service was top-tier and the food impressed me even more. Despite getting here right before close, Everything was made to order and was still fresh and hot by the time I came back in to grab it. Decided to eat my Chicago dog in the car and I regretted not getting two of them. Glad I took the chance and stumbled the cross this hidden gem. Already looking forward to my next visit!“

“First time trying it today. First, the gentleman working was extremely kind and made sure to double check everything on my order was correct before and after the food was prepared. The torta with steak was phenomenal. The jalapenos in there were spot on and the thing weighed 8 lb! Tried the quesabirra tacos which did not disappoint. It came with 3. The rice and beans are packed with flavor and you get a hefty serving of each with a dinner. You get a choice of salsa red or verde. Red's got a kick but it seems more of a hot sauce than salsa I would say. They had jarritos sodas which is always a plus. And the most excellent part about it, is their tamales. I have been eating tamales my whole life and this was, in fact, the best one I have ever eaten. If you don't like spicy I wouldn't recommend, because they have a heat kick to be sure. Absolutely delicious. Ample parking room in front or behind truck. So much food with the dinners that they can be split into two meals. So happy I stopped.“

“We ordered from Tacos El Pastorcito Mixe and everything was amazing. We ordered two horchatas, the Pastorcito burger, and al pastor tacos. The tacos were juicy, generously filled, and packed with flavor, easily some of the best al pastor tacos in Milwaukee.
The burger was just as good, super juicy and tasted fresh and homemade. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the horchatas were refreshing and delicious. Overall, a solid spot that we will definitely be ordering from again.“
