My go-to is the Hook & Ladder, but honestly, everything I've tried has been amazing. Definitely one of my favorite sub spots. Highly recommend!”

“We’ve been here several times since we moved to the area and it never disappoints. They have a great mix of their “staple” beers and experimental stuff so every time we come there’s something interesting to try. They’re dog-friendly inside and out which is great. Very nice patio. Love that they seem to always be hosting some local fundraiser here. Our favorite brewery in the area.”

“Celebrated my daughter’s birthday with 17 people…Tim was outstanding with reacting to us just stopping in with no reservations! He was able to accommodate us with the longest table in the bar area and also assigned Avery as our bartender and order taker. Plenty of appetizers and pizza’s to boot! Tim also tossed in a round of shots for all! Very impressed, all with a full dining room and never skipped a beat. Definitely will be back as well as highly recommend!!!”

“We attended a family wedding at Milwaukee Ale House on 10/5/24. The party staff was AMAZING. They were professional, attentive, and kept things running smoothly. Sue the coordinator is top notch. She met us the morning of the wedding so that we could set out centerpieces and other decorations. She has great ideas and is super easy to work with, she definitely knows what she is talking about. Jason the bartender makes amazing drinks and is very creative, the best drinks I've had in a long time. Jason also was a pro at handling a guest that had too much to drink, he sensed it and dealt with it in a way that did not embarrass the guest at all. Jamie was working that night as well, she is organized, fast and handled some last minute table changes without a complaint. Sue, Jason and Jamie were wonderful and deserve a pay increase for the services they provide, I am sure they are not making what they deserve. It's not often you come across such hard working individuals and it was truly a pleasure. I will not hesitate to recommend the Milwaukee Ale House to anyone that is looking for a wedding/party venue.”

“We arrived right at peak dinner time and were surprised by how hot and fresh everything tasted. Each dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The staff greeted us warmly and went out of their way to answer our questions and make us feel at home.

It was our first visit, and we stumbled upon the place after hearing some good word-of-mouth recommendations. We were happy to see a full menu available, with both buffet and à la carte options clearly listed.

The building itself had a charming, old-school character, and everything inside—from the dining area to the restrooms—was spotless and well-kept. Definitely a spot we’ll be returning to.”

“This is a unique craft beer spot in an old mill building in Grafton. We would have liked more options (they had about 10 beers) and the prices are a touch high ($8-12 per pour) but overall it was a cute spot with a relaxing patio to sip a cold bevy. Would definitely go again”

“Don't expect the "old subway" or extra anything. Since the new owners took everything is by the book. Quality is still there but when you ask for more than two pickles, tomato's, or black olives be prepared to pay.”
