Wooden Nickel Bar and Grill

Family owned Local Bar. The owners and patrons were Great! Very nice and friendly. Went for the fish fry and decided to go with the Walleye which was delicious. Will go back next time we are in the area.

I called another local bar as a local at 830 on a Friday night fish fry and was told kitchen is closed lol
I came here and got blue gills ( which is hard to find round here) and it was great
Five miles further but I will only do fish here from now on
“Kitchen closed” lol which also means you
my business as a local

Exactly what you want out of a local bar. Good food, cold drinks, friendly people, and a laid back atmosphere. The bar food was awesome — hot, fresh, and hit the spot. One of those places that just feels comfortable the second you walk in. Definitely a great small-town spot to grab a meal and hang out.

The Absolute Best homemade Pizza in the surrounding area. we've tried pizzas from other places, but the Nickels can't be beat~ Love the owner and bar staff~

Amazing food! Our group had burgers and the Philly and we all ate every bite! The owner and the bartender were both awesome as well! Can't wait to go back and try the pizza.

Was there for an outdoor event. Place was clean, inviting, and had a nice atmosphere. Service and drinks were excellent.

Should not have ordered the broccoli and cheese bites, we took them to-go 20 minutes away and they're still SO good I'm definitely addicted. Staff was so great, shout out to Ducky for her pickle teething trick for our teething 9 month old! Prices are great, food is great, we'll be back.
