For the old school lunch counter and classic burger experience, Al's is a must. They've been at it since 1934 and do their Burgers the right way. The bakery fresh buns totally help make it.
Loved this small but cozy place with the classic bar stools and booths. It was easy to find. Did a booth. The server recommended to go with the classics for a first visit. Got the 1/4 burger with cheddar, fried onions, fries and a cup of chili. The chili was pretty simple ground beef and beans but very tasty. Right away noticed burger bun was different but very good and light. That burger was so good! The fries smelled like they maybe had too much pepper but when I tried them...
Brought my daughter here. Asked her for the rating. She says 10/10 and I agree. The burgers exceed expectations and the fries are outstanding. Friendly servers and a family atmosphere. Thanks Al's
