My boyfriend stopped in for a pizza. The bar was very nice clean. The music not too loud. It was very cozy. The service was excellent. The pizza one of the tastiest I've ever had. It was reasonable. I recommend this place.

This is from my first time experiencing The Getaway since I always see it while going down Bellevue Street to get home. I came here on a whim because I was hungry and unsure exactly what I wanted for dinner. The building is bigger from how it looks outside.It's not much different from a dive bar,the pizza choices aren't much and the crust is a premade thin crust just judging its appearance, but you can customize your toppings and they use real cheese. So I have social anxiety like no other French prevents me from being able to do a lot of sociable thing so when a friend introduced me to the getaway bar I was nervous at first was pleasantly surprised and how cool it was! Prices are good in the drinks there wasn't too many people there was other things to do besides listen to music and get drunk they had machines for gambling had darts and the crowd was very nice as well.
