Was in the area for work and craving some Thai food. After looking at the menu and reading the reviews, decided to give Plia's a try. Considering where I am originally from and that Green Bay is a smaller town comparatively with regards to the selection of Asian cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised. On my first visit, I got the Drunken Noodles. I asked for it to be spice and was asked to choose between 1-5. I choose 4. Almost did 5 as restaurants that serve Thai food in smaller communities, the spice level tends to me on the milder side. I also got a Thai Iced Tea. The pleasant surprise came when the level 4 heat was actually very spicy and the tea paired perfectly with the spice. I also appreciated that instead of the regular thick rice noodles, they used the ones that were more like small rectangular sheets. On my second visit, I decided to try the pad kra pow. Unfortunately, this dish was not as great at the Drunken Noodles. There was too much liquid in the bottom of the dish. Also the didn't quite taste like most gra pow that I've had. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely go back and get the Drunken Noodles again.

Really good SE Asian food. Small space so had to wait for a table but not long. We had yellow curry chicken noodles, pad Thai, and basil fried rice. All tasty. Happy to find good Asian food in NE Wisconsin!

Checked it out because the other 2 pho places were closed on Monday AND Tuesday? Seems like that Lodge place likes to close randomly or whenever they feel like it.Very nice people, great service, food came out fast. Food was okay. Papaya was bitter though. However, the pho was pretty good. I enjoyed it very much. Nice little joint.

We ordered a fried rice and we said make it little spicy and they literally added cut red spicy hot chillis in that. You get like 3-5 for every bite and you cannot seperate them because there are many. Its extremely spicy and its not good for us to eat it that way (refer picture). Be mindful when ordering and saying word spicy. We also ordered a Squash curry and they did the same , literally many cut hot chillis were added and we couldn't eat either of them. Its not healthy for us to even comsume food that way.

Does not answer their phone. This occurs repeatedly, every time we call. They don't have a queue, any type of capacity to take multiple orders at once, voicemail, or a hold system - if they have "too many" orders, they just stop taking them. So unless you intend to go in and order at the counter, it's not worth ordering. At this point I don't think I'll order from them again as it's just incredibly frustrating to gather up what a group wants to order, spend 30 minutes calling repeatedly to just have to give up and start over.Every other restaurant on earth has figured this out. Even before voicemail existed, decades ago you put a little line of tickets up in the kitchen, and you estimated the wait time from how many you had. It's not hard. And it's weird that so many people give them a pass - there are a ton of other places to get curry, pho and pad thai from who also operate like a normal restaurant that knows how a phone works.
