I ordered breakfast and clearly told them in Spanish I also want some food to go After I'm done eating for lunch but instead they bring my breakfast AND my lunch together. Then they just put my lunch under the counter while I ate breakfast, letting it cold. After that every time I order the food and service just gets worse.

The waitress was in another world, we told her what we wanted and it remained in the air, we repeated frequently and she still didn't understand, she also pointed out the language to us, I told her I speak both, I have an 11-year-old girl, or she said that if my daughter had children, it's like Stupid, the taste of the juices is horrible, I don't recommend it for the music, you have to pay..

I've tried El Local many times and I've just given up . Order is always wrong. I understand there is a language barrier but I tried Google translate and showed the screen to the waitress...still wrong . Food is good and large portions but it doesn't matter if you don't get what you ordered. Not a place for gringos.

Very authentic Mexican restaurant of typical Central Mexico cuisine. Salsa was unbelievably hot with good flavor. Pozole had good flavor with sufficient condiments. They use a think pork chop for the meat. Very unique and tender. Good service, banda-Norteño on television to entertain. Sells variety of Mexican beers.

I walked in and was greeted with “what” … I asked her what did she just say … she started laughing and half apologized.. proceeded to mess up my order needless I’ll never go back .

Great food but service needs work. I’ve dined here many times but received horrible service each time. Waitresses never ever check up on you. I have to go to the host stand and ask for more water, chips or the salsas. I ask what’s on a certain dish and they respond with “nose” (I don’t know). When you go in the restaurant, they don’t greet you. You say the first word and tell them why you’re there. I stopped dining in and got to-go instead. They answer the phone rudely like if they’re over it already. Many people have told me they stopped dining there for the same reason: service. They need to be trained. I hope management sees this and so every customer leaves satisfied. It’s just never a good experience. This restaurant has so much potential but the service is the absolute worst. I cannot stress that enough and we can only hope something gets done about this because it is great food.

Prices would have been great if we would have gotten all our food and. Service would have been better without the side eyes and commentary. That made me really uncomfortable and not welcomed. Wouldn’t go back even though the horchata was great. Will say the guy was nice but the ladies were better awful.
