We stopped for lunch after spending a Saturday morning at the Princeton Flea Market. We are not from the area, so we Googled restaurants in the area and that is how we ended up at The Old School. Ratings for this place were very good so we thought we would give it a try. Restaurant and bar very clean. Bathrooms too. We placed our order. The menu had a good selection of food options to order. The cheeseburgers we ordered were grilled to perfection. Not greasy. Good choice of add-ons...
We have driven past this place a hundred times but finally stopped to try it and we were blown away. A true Wisconsin gem revitalized. The pizza was absolutely fantastic but the burger could be a top ten of all time. Super great staff with exceptional pricing. Atmosphere was great both indoor and out. Do yourself a favor and stop in there.
Lunch was great. Had the mushroom Swiss burger with fries and my wife had the single patty burger with waffle fries. Burgers were good. I’d prefer fresh cut fries over batter coated, but that’s what they have. Beer options are all cans or bottles, no taps. Service and food were very good. The atmosphere is simple but clean and has some fun nostalgia stuff.
