Joey Gerard's - A Bartolotta Supper Club

Our server wasn't very attentive, forgot part of our order and just didn't seem to care much. Second time in last three visits there was a problem, I'll think twice before booking again. There are similar places available that are trying harder.

This is one of my family's favorite restaurants in Wisconsin. It's definitely the finest restaurant in the Greendale / Greenfield area. 5 Star Job. Tony S

Excellent Filets cooked to perfection. Outstanding wait staff. Attention detail was exceptional.

Food was average, chicken piccata was dry with no sauce and my son's filet was significantly overcooked. Waitress made everything feel rushed as well. Overpriced for quality of the meal.

The food was fantastic as usual. My husband had the ribeye. He said it was the best steak in a long long time. I enjoyed the bacon wrapped scallops. Buttery soft and crisp bacon. The temperature of the restaurant was a little chilly and I could hardly hear the music. But all in all a wonderful dining experience.

The food was excellent. I was happy to see that the fish platter was back. My server Brittany made me feel welcome and enhanced my dining experience.

I really loved this place! The decor and ambiance was really nice. The Steak Diane & potatoes were perfect! Definitely will be back!

Lyla was outstanding. She made my boss who has never been to Joey Gerard's before and made his experience top notch.

Dry brandy manhattan with olive was served with cherry in lieu of olive. Drink was excellent.
Filet ordered medium rare. Was very hard to cut with steak knife. Hard chewing except for large piece of fat which was not expected.
Were served an excellent anniversary dessert at no cost.
Brought 2/3 of filet home to see if I can salvage and tenderize.

Bar service before dinner was slow.

We were very unsatisfied. When we arrived there was no one at the reservation desk. We were never even welcomed by any of the staff. We have been to evey one of the Bartolotta restaurants and have never experienced that. Needless to say we won't be returning.

I have been to all of the Bartolatta restaurants and this is by far my least favorite. When we arrived ( 5 minutes early) there was no hostess and no one greeted us. So tee just stood around waiting. The menu was.oksy and the food was okay at best. Waiter was good, however. We will not be back.

Overall, good food, but so-so service. Appetizers, drinks, steaks, and sides were excellent. The one glaring misstep was that our entrees were delivered cold. I had ordered a steak with a herb butter sauce. The herb butter sauce consisted of a pat of butter on top of the steak. Had the steak been at an appropriate temperature, the butter would have melted and imparted a contrasting flavor. Since the steak was cold, the butter did not melt and remained an unappetizing lump through the meal. The waiter only occasionally stopped by and as we left, we saw him chatting up the other wait staff at the bar. Obviously his priorities were not focused on the diners. At these prices, I expect a better level of service.
