Tried this place for the first time for Easter Brunch. It was a buffet for $70/adult. The food was perfect - everything tasted wonderful and there was a nice selection. The service was great too - attentive & friendly. I'd definitely try this for regular dining but I'll also be looking to come back for a brunch.

Top-notch steakhouse! Never disappoints. Celebrated with family & each had an amazing steak cooked to perfection. Excellent & attentive service but not intrusive. Worth the price! Reservations highly recommended.

Made a reservation 3/8/2024 for our 21st Anniversary. My husband clearly stated it was our anniversary. Our reservation was for 7 pm. We arrived 6:55 and were told it would be a couple minutes before we could be seated. 25 mins later we were seated. The hostess sat us and said Happy Birthday and I said doors it's our anniversary. She said sorry but handed us an anniversary card. Yikes! They sat us in a part of the restaurant that do so dark I could not even read the menu. Our server was completely in-personable. We ordered the crab artichoke dip for an appetizer- the beard was stale. Our main meals were good but the garlic spinach was so overpowering I could not eat it. Was disappointed that we spent over $250 on a meal with a reservation that specifically mentioned it was our anniversary and restaurant did nothing special like most restaurants in this category does. However, I did notice other tables that were celebrating birthday had a different experience. Based on the price point and experience, I'll never come back as I'd rate my experience a 2 vs the other 5 star experiences I had. Btw! Your hostess staff should also consider what their customers can hear. Completely unprofessional behavior.

Disappointed in the preparedness of our steaks/ ribs! Waiter was busy, not a very good meal for the price. Took my mom for the very first time she was not impressed! I'm very disappointed as I've been coming to Joey's for years! I've emailed you already still no response.

The atmosphere is amazing, the service is on par. The food wasn't as good as I expected. Don't get me wrong, it was perfectly romulan, but it could have cost a bit less. The drinks are amazing, and beautifully balanced. You get flavor without being overwhelmed by alcohol.

First timers here! Everything was fantastic from the food, to the ambience and staff. Special thanks to our server, Mike. What an absolutely amazing human! He was so kind, welcoming and it felt like we were his only guests. Thank you!

We were there on valentines day so it was very busy. First time here. It has all the components of a nice supper club but it was a little small. The waitress seemed in a hurry to move us along. Might have just been my perception.I'm hoping to try it again when it's not quite so busy.

First time at Joey's! Very pleased with everything! The only restaurant that I know has raw beef and onion on appetizer list. Staff was very pleasant and our wait person, Theresa, was great! Thank you for a very pleasant dining experience.

Very nice meal! Everything was excellent. By far, was way better than 5 o'clock steakhouse 2 weeks ago! Prime rib was done to perfection! My wife's fillet was better too! Overall, our experience was what we wanted! Every time we have been to Joey Gerard's, we have not been disappointed! Thank you for a wonderful supper club! Chuck

Food is good...not as good as prior times...a little disappointing but still very good. Schaumburg torte with half a strawberry a joke! Server mistook sour cream for butter and when asked for butter brought more sour cream and charged $2.50! For it.

Overall - NOT WORTH THE MONEY, GO. ELSEWHERE. ASAP.Anticipating our reservation, we arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes early and settled into the bar area. However, the initial excitement waned as it took nearly 20 minutes for us to garner any attention from the staff. Frustrated, we swiftly closed our tab in a rush to be ready for our reservation.Amidst the somewhat rocky start, there were a couple of redeeming aspects. Our server, emerged as a beacon of excellence--efficient, knowledgeable, and consistently prompt. The hostesses also added a positive note with their friendly and courteous demeanor. Notably, the drinks served were a highlight of the evening.Regrettably, these positive moments were overshadowed by the lackluster quality of our main courses. The steaks failed to live up to expectations, lacking flavor and proper preparation. My medium-ordered strip arrived well done, an egregious misstep for a $62 steak. Overall, the steak was poorly (if at all) seasoned and was rather boring. The best item on my plate was the potatoes, which were perfectly fluffy and seasoned to taste. It was disheartening to realize that a mainstream chain could outshine the culinary offering at a well known restaurant. In contrast, our friends' choices--the scallops and pork chop sandwich--stood out with their excellence. However, it raised eyebrows that non-steak options outperformed the restaurant's supposed specialty. (Did I mention it was underwhelming?)Opting to extend the evening with a sweet touch, we decided to close our tab and return to the bar area for an ice cream drink. Unfortunately, this plan hit a snag. As three out of four of us visited the restroom, not a single server attended to our needs. A friendly greeting to the bartender went unnoticed, leaving us with no choice but to abandon the idea and head to a wine bar across the street. The final blow came when reflecting on the substantial $400 bill for our meal, leaving us with a sense of having been shortchanged. It's disheartening to be this critical, but the lack of care in the service and overall experience was palpable. The Bartolotta name in MKE was know for excellence, a place you wanted to bring visitors, and a delicious experience. If so, it's fallen far from where it once stood as a renowned restaurant group of the area. For those seeking a more gratifying dining experience at a fraction of the cost, my recommendation veers towards 5'O Clock Steakhouse or Carnivore. Both have much better selections of steak, better seasoned meat, and equally as good (if not better) dining experiences. I've always wanted to try Bacchus...but after another let down experience, I will spend my money on much more memorable dining experiences in the city.

I dined with my partner and two friends this evening. Joey Gerard’s always shows up on OpenTable and we wanted to try something new. This was my second experience at a Bartolotta restaurant, the first being Mr. B’s in Mequon. That experience wasn’t any better, which is disappointing because you would think they are “gods gift of creation” in Milwaukee. We met our friends 30 minutes before our reservation for a drink in the bar area. It took almost 20 minutes to be acknowledged, but eventually got drinks- and tried to promptly close the tab to be ready for our reservation.Let me tell you two positives of our experience:Brittany was our server. She was awesome, super efficient, knowledgeable, prompt, etc. Everything you would want in a server. The hostesses were also super friendly, courteous, etc.Our drinks were tasty! My steak was awful, as was my partners. I could make better at home- and an Outback chain restaurant is 300% better. I had a strip, ordered medium, that was served well done- and had 0% flavor- pretty sad for a $62 steak. My partner had a filet, that needed to be doused in the bernais sauce. Our friends had the scallops and the tenderloin sandwich. Those were excellent, but aren’t you a steakhouse? After dinner, we elected to close our tab and go back to the bar area for an ice cream drink. No dice. Three of four people on our party hit the bathroom, and in this time- no server. My friend even said hi to the bartender, got side eye, and never offered a drink. We left. We went to the wine bar across the street.Overall, for a $400 meal- it was a ripoff. I wouldn’t recommend and that’s sad. I hate to be this critical, but it was as if nobody cared at all. Lackluster leadership? Maybe the brand name has let the Bartolotta name get to their head and has lost focus. In any event, for the cost- 5’O Clock steakhouse is your best bet. For 66% less cost, you’ll be happier at a Outback or Texas Roadhouse.

This is the place we come to for our anniversary every year. The staff and service go above above and beyond. Our meal was amazing and the dessert provided by Joey Gerard's was an added touch to end our dinner for my birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary. Thank you for always going above and beyond our expectations
