How does this place stay in business?

I ordered a wedding cake! Staff was very friendly and very helpful! The marble cake slice I bought us delicious and I can't wait to see the cake I ordered 😋

I love their garlic toasted bread/chips. I will try to go there and pick them up when I'm on that end of town. I was not real crazy about the struessel raisin bread, kind of dry

Lovely place with homemade sandwiches and bakery. Warms the heart to see.

Consistently good bakery and deli. Love their molasses cookies and their sugar cookies in particular. Some of the best in town.

The tuna salad is delicious. Loved the pasta salad, too! My dog loves their homemade dog biscuits. Friendly and helpful. Thank you! Be Kind :)

Such a great experience with this place! I needed a baby shower cake very last minute and they were able to get it made exactly what I was looking for! Beautiful cake and tasted amazing! It was completely gone but the end of the party

After growing up on the southside of Milwaukee and going to National, the quality of the doughnuts have gone down over the years. The freshness of the doughnuts is not like it used to be, I thought I would give it one more try this morning but sad to say it might be my last, you would think on a Saturday morning at 8am they would be fresh, but they were clearly old doughnuts and did not have any chocolate eclairs, look like I will be going to O&H Danish from now on, very disapointed

I called another bakery (not National Bakery) that’s on Greenfield in West Allis, wanted to order a cake for the following week. The lady on the phone wasn’t very nice and told me I had to order online then put me on hold forever. So I hung up and called National Bakery. Boy am I glad I did. The lady that answered was so nice and so helpful. I got the most beautiful and delicious cake I’ve ever had. Really made my birthday special. National Bakery is my go-to bakery from now on. Fantastic cakes! I had the best experience two times now with national bakery, ordering cakes for birthday parties. The cakes are beautiful and taste amazing and their customer service is above and beyond… I could not be happier, highly recommend ? I’ll post a picture of the most recent cake - I referenced a picture on there website and said I wanted my cake to look as close as possible to picture and it turned out even better!!
