Food was decent and the service was nice. Food came out pretty quickly. Everything was delicious. It was extremely loud is a downside.

Had an excellent time here with my sister last night. I hadn’t been in a while, knew they had a good menu with a good amount of gf options and good drinks— all reasonably priced too.
We asked to be seated outside last night. The fire pit is a nice addition for the atmosphere, and I liked they didn’t seat us right next to another table.
Our server, Nick, was amazing. Really amped up our visit there. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful (asked a food runner a question about our meal and he was able to give me a good answer, and also sent our server back over to confirm the answer he gave us. 10/10 with that).
They make a really awesome Moscow Mule here. Very fresh and light. My sister ordered a mojito and was talking all night about their lemon drop martini.
We ordered 3 food items— the steakhouse pizza on a gf crust, Reuben dip, and truffle fries.
They brought us out fresh fries which was a major bonus in my book. I’m usually not too picky with my fries but Nick had told us those would be coming out a second later than the rest of our food because they were being made fresh. I’ve had the heat lamp fries and you can tell a difference so that was very appreciated. My sister loved her Reuben dip— another item she couldn’t stop talking about. And we split the steakhouse pizza which was so tasty (this was the food item I had a question about— their gf crust was SO good I was skeptical after the first bite. They informed me it was gf and they recently made some swaps to the menu to make even more gf options which is something I did actually notice on their menu. Something I love to see as someone with a sensitivity).
Overall a really awesome time, great food, great spot, and a huge shoutout to Nick for the service!

Called to order a carry out and had a very rude female tell us "we don't do carry outs" and slammed the phone down. We'll excuse me, we didn't know you didn't do carry outs anymore...and seriously a bummer they don't. Maybe I missed it on the website if they said no carry outs but disappointment to say the least, we did carry outs in the past with them.

Beer is great, food is good (pizza is very good). Unfortunately their hours on Google aren't correct, they close the kitchen at 9pm on Saturday nights. We've been here a bunch during the week but when we showed up at 9:15 on a Saturday (9/28/24) they told us they just go by how it feels when deciding to close the kitchen and that it closed at 9 that night

Just spent $80.00 on a dinner for two that was absolutely horrible. This place is a joke and overpriced. We ordered baked English onion soup & the flavor of the day soup which was jalapeño popper. Neither of them had much flavor. Then we shared a pizza and a banh mi sandwich. The sandwich had a horrible odor to it and the pork was mushy and completely flavorless. Nothing like a banh mi sandwich at all. The pizza looked delicious, but that too was very tasteless. The sauce was very minimal and the traces of sauce you did bite into tasted like plain tomato sauce from a can with no spices added to it for flavor. We tried to add salt, pepper, hot pepper flakes and parmesan cheese to improve the taste, but that did not help at all. Needless to say, the only items we finished were our soups. I'm sure our waitress could tell we were disappointed with our meal as she did not offer any to-go containers which we would have declined anyway. We left there feeling very unsatisfied and completely ripped off for the price we paid. Do yourself a favor and skip going here.

The Brussel sprouts were mediocre. The bomb burger was ok, the burger my friend got looked better. The flatbread was decent. My vegan friend got an impossible buger. Service was great and it's a typical brewpub atmosphere. Prices were a little high but nowadays what place isn't? I may go back but there are other places close by that I have liked more.

I typically really enjoy The Explorium but this time they fell short in a couple areas. It was Friday fish fry at 6:00 pm but they ran out of mahi mahi?? Which is specifically on the fish fry menu....so then I ordered the baked fish and potato pancakes. When my meal came, they did not send applesauce with the pancakes or the coleslaw/tartar. When asked, the man delivering the food said that the tartar and coleslaw don't come with the baked fish (they do-it says right on the menu) and then when we asked about the applesauce, he said they ran out. I wouldn't have ordered the pancakes if I knew that. Way too dry by themselves. The fish was barely warm, as well. The broccoli was good and my niece's mashed potatoes were as well. My mom enjoyed her chicken sandwich. But overall, it was not the best experience.

We were seated and then waited about 10 minutes before our waitress came. She came, took our drink order and left. Waited a few more minutes and she came back with water and my Diet Coke, set them down and walked away. My friend ordered a mixed drink and the waitress never said anything about that. A little bit later she comes back with two mixed drinks in her hand. Sets one down on our table and then proceeds to walk to the table behind us and set the other one down. My friend and I were talking and hadn't really noticed the drink she set down. A minute later the waitress comes back, takes the drink and then proceeded to set down the drink she took to the other table and takes the drink from our table and takes it to the table behind us. She then leaves again. More time passes and then she comes back to take our orders. We both just ordered the fish fry dinners. We then sat and watched 2 other tables that came in after us get their food. We waited awhile. Then finally someone else comes and drops off our dinners, asks if there's anything else we need and leaves. Both of our fish were overcooked and somewhat dry. We thought about saying something but two things stopped us. One, we rarely saw our waitress and when we did she was helping other tables and two, we waited so long for our food to begin with, we didn't want to wait even longer for new dinners. Our waitress never came by to ask how our food was or if we needed refills on our drinks. I had to flag her down to ask for another soda. Then she proceeded to take my glass to refill it. Call me crazy but that kind of grosses me out when a restaurant does that. Especially when you have a straw in the glass. She did stop by once to see if we were done with the condiment caddy so that she could take it and put it on another family's table. Other than that, no communication from her at all during our meal. Was not impressed at all with the food or the service.

Worst service ever. She completely was not interested in being there. We were never offered refills for our drinks. We had to ask for silverware, and then plates for our appetizers. She dropped the check on the table without a word and we wanted to order dessert. It took us 20 minutes to get her to come back and take our dessert order. Then when it came we had to flag her down for plates and silverware. She was clearly not interested in being there or working. The food was just average. The place was not very clean. We will not be returning.

Excellent beers matched by the service. My wife so appreciated that almost all beers were “gluten removed” since she could enjoy them with me. We also loved the menu with tons of gluten free options. She had gf cheese curds and relished them since they have been taboo for years!

Had a great experience. This was my second time there, the first was more of a business meeting. Had a friend with me and making the reservations was quick and easy and I even had to change them for a later time. We were seated and service was quick. The waitress missed part of my order but quickly remedied it as soon as it was identified. We were seated outside and the evening was nice. The music wasn't too loud and the fire pit was nice as it started to get cooler. Had a great time and great food. I would definitely recommend and definitely going to return again soon!

Love their fish fry and outdoor space. On Friday's they offer $8 Old Fashioneds if you get the fish fry. All the beers I've tried have been good too. The service is attentive and patient. We've gone for trivia nights and the speaker system is better than some places we've tried.

Last Friday, August 9, 2024, everything on point: fish fry golden brown, fries a good size, good texture, bread, fresh. One week later August 16, 2024, fish fry overdone. I think this was not only due to the timing but the oil needed to be changed. Dark bits on the crusty batter. The over all tastes of the cod was overwhelmed by the taste of the hard crusty batter. Fries were have size, like leftovers, bottom of the barrel. Bread stale. Service was only some what attentive this time. More attention on the patio seating the week before. The baked English onion soup was served tepid. Previous week, it was hot off the stove, cheese nicely roasted. The right temp brings out the flavor. The fish fry is inconsistent from week to week. Disappointed. Will order only BAKED cod from now on. Both summer Fridays, mid to late afternoons, not busy. Not like it used to be a year ago in August, when patio seating was much more filled. Indoor seating down as well. Lonely, three people at a table the other end of the big dining area. Atmosphere: some one chose aggressive rock, punk rock maybe from the ninties. Expresses the feelings of the people working there! Enervating! Something going on. Will waite a year before going back.

Explorium Brewpub is an absolute must-visit for beer lovers! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing with friends or enjoying a solo brew. But it's the exceptional craft beer that truly sets this place apart.
I have been blown away by the variety and quality of their in-house brews. From hoppy IPAs to rich stouts, there's something to satisfy every palate. The bartenders are knowledgeable and happy to recommend based on your preferences.
The food menu complements the beer perfectly. It's clear that Explorium takes pride in both their food and drink.
If you're looking for a fantastic local brewpub experience, don't miss Explorium!
