First off, we have been patrons of Explorium Greendale for years. We LOVE their beverages/beer. Their food has really fallen off and we just do not go often anymore. It's such a bummer because it is such a great place in our community. My fish fry was ok, but my husbands fried cod had zero seasoning to the batter. It was literally just fried batter. He is not a tartar sauce user, but in order to get any flavor he needed sauce. Just sad. Our waiter was maybe the biggest dud of a waiter I've had anywhere in awhile. He could not seem to find his smile or energy. Overall it was a disappointing evening beyond our great drinks. Such a bummer, we love this place!

We come here regularly. We always have great service and food. The beer is very tasty too! They have regular specials and events. It's a great place to watch the game, bar tenders are friendly. The staff seems to have infrequent turnover, the owners seem invested in their team and the community.

The apps, entrees, service were all good. There was a singer doing a mixture of christmas tunes and pop tunes. Pretty good. Can't give it five starts because in the end the Mall view from my table was unappealing. Yes I knew it was inside Southridge mall but did not think I'd be watching the shoppers come in and out.

Live music was way too loud!!! You couldn't enjoy a conversation and our teens were annoyed by the microphone giving too much feedback. Our 2 cheeseburger with fries and 2 fish fry dinners took more than 40 minutes! My fish was too hard to eat & my potato pancakes were burned. They comped my food, but other than the broccoli I didn't eat anything- the waitress didn't offer to replace my meal. I mentioned it was my husband's birthday (& also put it in the app on my reservation) but the waitress said she needed manager approval to do a dessert. She was gone for almost 10 minutes and when she came back saying she would, my teens, husband and myself were just ready to leave so we asked for the check. Almost another 10 minutes before she brought that to us. In general the food is usually pretty good, service is usually always mediocre but it's close to home and we usually enjoy the atmosphere. I think this experience wasn't typical - but it certainly was ‘the perfect storm' with the obnoxious music, long wait, poor service and very disappointing food.

The experience there always just feels very cold. Robotic like. No real warmth to be seen. Come in. Sit down. Wait awhile for a server. Server starts out good then unfortunately it trails off. Regardless they are busy so they will not miss our business.

The beer and food are incredible. I've been to every brewery in the Milwaukee area and this is legit one of the best ones in the Milwaukee craft beer scene. Prices are on par with any other brewpub in the Milwaukee area.

Good food and wide selection. I like that they had 4 ounce tap beers. You can try a couple different ones. They also had a couple NA beers. Service was great. There were food choices there for our vegan. First time here and we loved it.

We were thrilled to have such an extensive gluten free menu for our two kids with Celiacs. It was the first time since being diagnosed that they could eat out and feel normal by having so many options. All of the items were exceptionally good, especially for being gluten free. We will definitely be back!!

Nice spot for a quick drink and bite to eat. Captain Kidds IPA is excellent, find myself having a hard time ordering anything else when visiting! We got wings and a flatbread pizza, both were delicious and came out quickly. We went at an off time, but service was great. The outdoor patio is a nice place to sit - you wouldn’t expect it considering it’s connected to the parking lot, but they’ve done a good job making it feel separate and a bit more intimate.

A Sunday evening dinner with family. It was not busy. We were seated immediately. The large booths comfortably seat 6 people. There is extensive drink menu for both cocktails as well as their crafted beers. Everything was mixed well. If you enjoy thin crust this is a place to visit. They offer flatbreads, pizzas, and calzones. We ordered 3 flat breads and a stuffed meatball pasta dish. The Flatbread is light enough for one person, but also sufficient enough for 2 to share. The onion soup was also flavorful. The dinning area was quiet enough for conversations, whereas the bar area was typically louder with the football games on the big screen tvs. A place worth stopping into.

Don’t advertise curry fries if you don’t have curry fries. We had a friend in from Ireland and he was excited to see them in the menu but it was just “curry” seasoning on fries.

EDIT: the Owner is right, it is not fair of me to lower the businesses rating because of a miscommunication. The rest of the food was wonderful and the service was great. I don't appreciate you calling my review stupid but I also should not have done something that could negatively impact a business.

Excellent food and selection of beers. Ate outdoors both times. I loved the fact that the music was at a reasonable volume and not blasting like a wannabe night club.

Great food! They even had a great brass band playing German polka for pre-Oktoberfest.

Lots of gluten free options. Would recommend. A tad disappointed in the cheese curds though. Tasted like mozzarella Cheese. Which was still decent, just not what I was expecting when I ordered cheese curds.
