We won’t be back. They add an 18% service fee automatically no matter what the size of your party is. There was a 3% fee for using a credit card added to the bill before I even said how I would pay. Finally, when I paid using the QR code on the bill, there was an additional tip added above the 18% service charge. I was able to remove that, but if you are not paying attention, you wouldn’t notice it. I thought that was pretty shady.

Watch your bill as they add on an automatic gratuity of 18% or so depending upon your bills total…and then when paying (electronically) you are asked to TIP AGAIN! BE AWARE!!!

My first time at Habanero’s was absolutely amazing! From the service to the tasty food! Their margaritas were to die for! 😍 I’ll definitely be going back

Great food and service. Clean establishment. I don't like that they added a tip to my receipt. That was annoying enough but, when they asked for payment as I paid with my debit card, I was asked to tip again. Too bad. I really liked this place. Just so sick of this tipping nonsense. Of course I was going to tip anyway. I am just sick of the sneaky ways restaurants now try to force you to tip. I may go back but I will make sure I use cash. Geeeesh.

Church dinner club selection for a Saturday night. We had been here before, but it had been a while. So, a group of 18 diners is difficult for a single server, but she handled it well. Had Monterey enchiladas with rice & beans. They were excellent, Al pastor was seasoned well but not exceptionally hot. The chips & salsa at the table were very good, too. My wife had a paloma, which was one of the better ones she has had in the area. Had the option to pay via a QR code on the check, which worked well. The place was not overcrowded for a Saturday evening.

My GF and I were excited to try this place as there's one near her work and she likes it. It was early in the evening and there was a large table of very drunk people who were having a good time, but they tended to use a lot of profanity. I know that's hard to control from a management perspective, so I don't really hold that against them. Our waitress was a quiet type, and I had a hard time hearing anything she said. I ordered the Barias and enjoyed the flavor but when I got to the bottom of the bowl there was a half inch of water at the bottom which left me with a nauseous feeling. It totally turned me off and I had to push the bowl away from me.
I usually tip very well (20% or higher) but was surprised to see a tip (18%) was added to my bill. I can understand adding a gratuity to a large table but adding one to a table of 2 seems shifty. If your staff isn't making enough that you have to do something like this maybe they need better training. If you want to shortchange your staff, continue with this.

I am really surprised to read all of the poor reviews on here. We stopped in for our first-ever visit on Sunday and we had a really incredible experience! The margaritas were very generously sized, my boyfriend enjoyed a pint-glass sized happy hour marg for about $7 and I did a much larger strawberry marg for about $11.

I saw a lot of comments in other reviews about prices. The pricing is aligned to the portion sizes, which are very generous. Just for context, I got fajitas that were about $21, but I ate one meal there and had enough leftovers for TWO meals at home. So really for that price I paid $7 per meal for THREE meals.

We really enjoyed the food, service was INCREDIBLY fast, our food came out right away and drinks came quickly as well.

I cannot say enough about our server, Mariana. She truly treated us like family. It felt like she genuinely cared that we were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our experience. She was absolutely wonderful.

I would absolutely return to this restaurant without hesitation and would recommend it!!
